I have never really felt the reservoir until today. It seems to have popped up (out, actually) just below my belt line -- lower than I thought it was. Is that where it belongs, or did it move?

Re: Position of Reservoir
Bob,
I do have an area of tenderness below the belt that I can only assume is the reservoir. Based on images it seems like the reservoir is placed low. Anyone had an MRI or know where it sits?

ED since 35 with no known cause -- injections successful for over a decade with 10/1/30 and less than 20units but that became ineffective. Implanted penoscratally by Dr. Kramer of Baltimore on 9/13/17 with AMS 700 LGX 21cm + 0.5cm RTE at 47 years old
Re: Position of Reservoir
I asked Dr Eid to point on my body where the reservoir is located. He pointed to an area just below or at my waist slightly off center to the left.
Also, I believe (don't hold me to this) that he advised me against lifting weights for 6 weeks for fear of herniating the reservoir.

Re: Position of Reservoir
My reservoir is on the right side, slightly below the belt line. Mine was inserted between the muscle wall and the skin of the abdomen. I can feel it. It causes no pain, tenderness or issuse. my doc advised me to not use the "Roman Chair" for ab exercises. Otherwise I have not changed my activities. Only two weeks after surgery, you still have internal swelling. Give it some time

Re: Position of Reservoir
My reservoir is on the right side. It is just above my waist. Tomorrow marks two weeks since my implant sugery and just yesterday it popped forward so I have a slight round bump showing. The doc told me it pull become less obvious as swelling went down. I think it may have shifted.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.
Re: Position of Reservoir
I have never felt or seen anything where the reservoir is. I asked my doctor when i could get back to AB exercise and at 6 weeks he said any time I want. He said he has it tucked way in and protected. May want to call your doctor and ask. That would be an easy fix wit a small incision.

Thanks. I didn't make myself very clear.
It's not a problem, it's just that all of a sudden I can feel it. It doesn't really protrude, just noticeable to the touch.
