I noticed that, when fully inflated, you have a slight upward curve. I thought that after getting an implant, any natural curving would be eliminated and you'd have a straight penis. I have a natural upward curve when erect (when things were working) and assume it would be straight after implant.

I thought the same thing. After surgery my surgeon said he took care of the Peyronies but noticed I still had a bit of an upward curve. He said if I wanted to get rid of it I could remove it by using two hands on my shaft and push it straight.if I made a habit of doing that for a while, it should be totally straight. I always liked the slight curve so I haven't done anything to try to straighten it.

I am not sure if the more pliable cylinders of my AMS LGX is more likely to maintain this curve than the more rigid Titan. Anyone else know about this?

Yes, the tips stay in place. I can't detect any change at all.

Later it occurred to me that if it had curved upward instead, it might be nice to stimulate that (in)famous G spot that women are supposed to have.

I can't imagine seeing my brother with an erection. My mom was a prude about nudity and even though my brother and I were only a year and a half apart, she always kept us apart when changing clothes, bathing, etc. She told me my body was very private and nobody else should see it except if a doctor examined me. When I was in 7th grade and my brother was in 9th grade, we happened to have gym class the same period and ended up in the shower room together. Regarding your brother's erection, all I can say is I am happy mine curves up rather than down.
