Proper technique for measuring a penis?

Postby Cnelson1 » Sun Oct 08, 2017 1:19 am

How do doctors measure one's penis for length and girth? What is the proper or accepted technique? Thanks

Pre op you stretch it as far as you can straight out and measure along the top pushing the ruler against the pubic bone and then reading the measurement at the tip.
It seems to give some indication of prospective implant length.
Remember many of us 55 and up have possibly suffered some atrophy and only (want to) remember ourselves when our cocks were attached to a 25 year old!
68,Titan Touch 22cm+1.5cm rte's op done in Melbourne Aust by Dr Chris Love-Feb 2017 Venous leakage over a 2 year period, did pills and Caverject. Length@ 3 1/2years is: 7+” erect, 6.5” flaccid and almost 6” girth. REZUM Feb 21 ejaculation now normal.

If you are talking about measuring for an implant, once you are on the OR table and cut open, they push rods up into the penis to measure. Here is a short video from Dr. Kramer that shows how to measure.

Proper length measure is from above with the pubic bone pressed by ruler.

I have never heard of a standard procedure for girth measurement.

Use a metric rule. The numbers are much more impressive.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.

Yes, this is the standard "proper length measure" method -- for "ordinary" situations ;) not medical ones I understand.
