Largest size AMS 700 is 18 cm, so your doc probably used 4 cm of rear tip extenders (RTE). This gives you a total of 22 cm. Approximately 5 cm of the AMS (and Coloplast) devices are not inflatable. So you have approximately 13 cm that is inflatable. This does not directly translate to penis size. There can be some variations among patients.

Everyone is different on the subject of underwear. I wear boxer briefs, and they have become more comfortable as the healing process continues and the deflated cylinders become more flexible.

Hey Dusty, no problem at all. With all the bickering over which implant is best, I just wanted to make sure that was one thing that prevented someone from going to the other one. Personally, I couldn't care less. The doctor that is treating my ED will implant me with the one that he feels is best for me. I know this because a) he has taken an oath to do so and b) I signed a consent for him to do so.

When a person wants to argue that his implant is the best, the best according to who or what, your doctor implants you with what he thinks will fit you best and produce the best results but what one person thinks is best another may say it didn't work for me, like a food or restaurant, best seafood restaurant, best is subjective, I hope I get the best implant best suited foe me, not you or 10 other guys but for me, if I experience problems, did I get the best implant? Unfortunatly this is a debate that will go on to the end of Time..

I totally agree that neither is better than the other. There are happy patients with both models, and the patient/doctor should choose what they think is best for them!
