We all talk about our Drs some more than others.
Let look at a few things

In the medical field our surgrons are a very small group. They all either no each other or no of each other.

They all had the same amount of education to get the title surgeron . They sll hav3 have a certain amount of continuing education the kerp their licenses

They are all published it a requirment for their degree

If they have ever performed surgery on some from another country thet are " World recognized or renown or class"

In todays the real bad ones will not make it. To many outlets to let people know.

High volume sounds like a car lot or some type mill. Granted a dr that does one a year may not be the best choice. A better definition would be very experienced. The faster they do them more chance of a mistake, but would not look bad . Example a dr does a thousand a year and has problems with 10 would be 1 percent, but one that does a 100 and has 1 that still 1 percent. If they both have 10 error it would appear the one that did only a 100 was bad at 10%. If you really looked at both and looked at 50 cases on side of each failure the 1000/ year nay gave a 10% rate.

Failures and mistakes are going to happen the implants mechanical. Mechanical thing break and wear out. For th e most part our DR are men, they put their pants on just like we wll do one leg at a time and just like us they we have off days and make mistakes. As age they are affected by some of same things that hit us. We pray and hope they are not having a bad day when they do our surgery and our implant not tgat slipped thru quality control.

Leader /Innovator in field I would hope they all are. Some do more on advcancing procedures and the field than other. Some do more research than others. Those that do publish/ share with everyone else. Some just take what others have done and modify it for them. If everyone was a leader nothing would ever get done. The are many reason why some can not do the research or develop new procedures, it could be a small pratice in a small area. Funding may be an issue. The people funding the research may not contact them.

NOW LOOK AT PATIENTS


Are we educated in mens reproductive health ? For the most part NO.

Do we enlighten ourselves about it I sure hope so
Do we do research? Yep
Do we share with others? Yes sometimes to much and too pasionate.

Are you and informed patient or you the one I cant get an erection fix me?

Are you going to demand your Dr do something or you going to have a discussion
with your Dr and come to a mutual agreement on what is best for you?

Are you going to be honest with your Dr or you going to play I have a secret and not going to tell you.

Here is a biggee
Are you going to follow his orders even it means wear underwear small than normal ,
doing nothing or you going to be the one that thinks I feel ok no need to not lift anything over 8 lbs or have sex beforeyou are cleared.

Are you going to keep your dr in the dark till you see hm or you going to keep him informed.

Imagine if the Dr were able to write reviews on us. What would the say about you?

A Great/AGood Dr with a not so great patient equals a not so great experince.

A Great/Good Dr with a good/great patient may equal a great experience. Even when both do everything good things can happen. Our body has the final say.

So are you helping your DR or you working against him
