Hi all,
I am wondering if anyone here has had chronic pain but still got an implant. It appears that some members were involved in crash accidents in the past and still ended up getting the implant. I ask because I would like to know if the chronic pain made recovering from the implant surgery harder (or easier since you were already in pain).
I have been battling chronic pain in my saddle area (perineum, scrotum, and anus) in addition to my ED and would like to determine if it makes sense to continue to postpone my surgery (original was scheduled for July 19) until the chronic pain is more under control or if it makes more sense to get the implant knowing I have the chronic pain issue anyway, so at least the ED issue should be resolved then.
Please pardon me for my wordiness and relative vagueness in this post.
Thanks,
Small

I have a herniated disk at L5/S1 causing me to have sciatica 24/7. I also, now have a herniated disk at C7 which gives me pain, pins and needles down my right arm into my hand. When I got my implant, my pain was controlled with the medication they gave me.

Like Larry,
I I also suffer from chronic back pain in almost the exact locations. It was particularly bad when I had my surgery. As far as I know it should not make a difference when it comes to implant surgery.
