Alternating Sides on Injections or No?

Thanks for your response. I purchased the Autoinject 2 and successfully injected on the left side last night. So I will continue to alternate. I still maintain that the issue with scarring or fibrosis is the number of needle sticks over time. Guys who inject 150+ times a year are obviously going to have far more needle sticks on either side of the penis than guys who may inject only 50 times a year -- even after alternating and charting different locations.

So, for high volume injectors, alternating and picking a variety of injection points is definitely a must. But for a guy injecting only 2 or 3 times a month? Maybe not so much. That said, it is best for everyone to follow the most conservative medical advice and alternate on each shot.

I changed that after reading about injecting closer to the head.

Tomas1, what's been your experience with injecting closer to the head? How close? Any difference in quality of erection?

I guess approximately 3/4" from the rear the rear of the head.
I also find it easier to spot the veins there.
I have many veins on the left side, but can inject pretty closely to them usually.

I do also find my hit rate is good there.

I vary the location. I did about an inch below the head yesterday on the right side. My wife was complaining that I was bigger than usual. Hardly scientific though.

The required needle depth is less near the head, at least for me.

Notice any more pain or discomfort in that neck of the woods?

If I can jump in, I don't notice any pain injecting there. This morning, I didn't even feel it at all. Who'd have thought that?

The process of needle insertion there might be a little more painful but if it is it's not enough to matter. I may get a tad more ache when injecting there but again nothing substantial.
