I'm one month post-activation and am very pleased with the results.
I have a lot of tissue adhering to the pump, and I think some of it is covering the valve activator for deflation.
I get intense stinging when holding the valve. Has anyone else experienced this?

Pain when deflating valve

Re: Pain when deflating valve
yes, I have the same pain..... didn't have it with my first implant however...
Re: Pain when deflating valve
I am also four weeks post surgery and I do not have any pain when pressing to deflate. My scrotum was very tender feeling when I first tried it two weeks ago, but that went away.
I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Re: Pain when deflating valve
I was implanted 2-1/2 months ago and activated 1-1/2 months ago and I have the same pain. My pump is a little high, so some flesh other than scrotum skin can get pinched when I deflate.

Re: Pain when deflating valve
Thanks for your responses. My pump if low, but is attached to the front of the scrotum with a pad of tissue. Not too happy about that. The surgeon says nothing can be done about it, but if the valve pain continues I'll have to have it attended to.

Re: Pain when deflating valve
If my experience is any guide, things will improve as the buildup of swelling (or whatever it is) around the pump subsides and your scrotum accepts the new tenant. Like yours, my pump was adhering awkwardly to the scrotum for quite some time. First 7 weeks for me were tough indeed, but now, at about 6 months, all's well.
Hope you are able to generalise from my one experience!
