Peyronie's has caused a chord of tough nodules spread throughout the length of my penis, primarily in the septum. If you don't know where the septum is, its the very center of your penis, between the cavernosa and above the spongiosum. In some places they feel like BBs. They aren't calcified but I can feel a good amount of them and they make me feel like shit every time I feel them. They seem to grow or swell after sex and masturbation. They aren't very painful though. Sometimes I think I shouldn't even be considering an implant, I still get erections with pills although I often have to really try to keep it hard. But when I feel these nodule and plaques and the tough tissue that now is my tunica I think, bro your dick is broken. Doctors think it's not serious enough for an implant I feel like I can go the next 10+ years feeling sorry for myself and trying to keep it up (sad story) or say fuck you Peyronie's, get an implant, and make it a story of overcoming it (happy story). Sorry, just venting and hoping some peyronie's guys young or old will have something to say.
My question is for those with peyronie's and an implant:
are you able to feel the scar tissue/plaque anymore through the cylinders, does the plaque get irritated or swollen?
How do the cylinders interact with the plaques?
Do the cylinders straighten or correct any indents or narrowing that was caused by the peyronies?
Thanks guys!

Peyronie's: 6 months, indents cause loss of 0.5 inches of girth, fibrosis growing, caused ED.
ED: 10mg Cialis daily, getting headaches, not interested in VED/injections.
Considering implant to avoid a lifetime of cialis and to correct deformity.

Re: Peyronie's plaque and implant
While implants tend to do considerable straightening , plaque and peyronies can do a significant amount of inreparable damage and significant disfigurement. Consider a consult with a reputable implant surgeon now. These specialists know where you are headed and know how and when to intervene. My plaque was very invasive. To the point where dilation was difficult. Shrinkage and deformity at my doorstep. Got together e my surgeon and was adamant about heading things off before I was permantly damaged. Perfect timing. Great results. Good luck.

Thanks Robocock,
Does that mean your plaque was in the cavernosa? My ultrasound showed mine was in the septum, so it probably would not be dilated through. Can you still feel any of your plaque, does it get irritated by pumping/erections?

Re: Peyronie's plaque and implant
You are right. Mine was in the cavernous. It had not hardened but atrophy had set in. Shrinkage while flaccid. Rarely anything close to hard. With your probs, u are likely to narrow over time and curvature is probable. While the implant can provide some significant straightening, the thinning is another story. That's why p disease patients generally receive the narrower implants. My suggestion was really to get another opinion before your penis has gotten to the point of permanent disfigurement. Just cuz u can still get it up w help doesn't mean it's good to wait till it's a huge problem to try to correct. There comes a time where inevitability of permanent damage outweighs everything else. In other words...fix it before and not after. Best of luck!
