Anybody tried those? What's the effect? How long does it take to enable the erection? Any side effects?

I used some samples my doctor gave me. They were easy to insert, and it took only about 10 minutes to get a usable erection. The downside was some pain (achy balls), and the fact that the erection went away when I laid down. When I stood up, the erection came back in just a few minutes, so we had intercourse with me standing. Afterwards, I laid down again to relax and the pain and the erection went away, which was fine, but then I got up to take a shower, and both came back. It's pretty expensive, so I never bought any after the samples were gone.

I had to purchase a 6 pack. I tried it and though my penis was on fire. It did not work for me. Thoughh I must have done something wrong to I tried a second time... More Pain.. So much for that!

Other guys have had some good success with it. Your right it is expensive.

I was in the fetal position for 40 minutes with pain (if my wife was home she would have called 911). Very bad experience! Never even got an erection (but I was able to masturbate before the pain got too bad - but that's just me...). The remaining doses are in the garbage! Regardless, it does work for some guys and I wouldn't sway anyone from trying it. You could have a totally different result!

I've used MUSE on and off since my prostatectomy almost 3 years ago. At first it did give quite an ache, especially at the 1000mcg dose, but after a while it was only just a little annoying. MUSE is kind of an old line ED med -- one of the first to be developed in the 80s. Even from my fairly good experience I can't really tick off many good things about it other than it works for some. As mentioned, it is ridiculously expensive -- around $300 retail for 6 injectors. WIth good insurance a co-pay might be $30-60.

I still keep my prescription going for it, but only now use it as a Daily Rehab by diluting 9 pellets in 30ml of bacteriastatic water -- then using 1ml each night at bedtime (if not using Trimix at bedtime).
At that low dose (300mcg/ml urethrally NOT injected) it really gets the blood flowing and to almost a hard-on and no pain, sting or any ache at all. As I said, good for rehabbing every day. So give MUSE a try, see what your co-pay is, if not too bad price keep the prescription going (at 1000mcg dose) for rehab and then move on to Trimix or something for the real thing (Trimix is cheap enough to pay for without co-pay even).

Unfortunately Trimix and even Quadrimix (or something like that) do not really work in my case. The maximum strength and dosage creates only 3 min of the erection time. So I was wondering if there is anything else on the market.
Different kind of Viagra-like medications cause me too much of the side effect such as flashing face, congested nose, severe headache, etc.
I was hoping to find Osbon constriction rings but Canada seems to be a "no go" zone for business selling those. They either do not ship to Canada, or the ring is ridiculously expensive ($30 + $7 shipping); or shipping cost is just insane - $80. I cannot imagine anybody paying $80 of shipping for a tiny piece of rubber that fits in the letter envelope... That's really annoying...

Sounds like you might be a good candidate for a Penile Implant to solve your ED problem.
Find a Urologist who specializes in Male Sexual Dysfunction and ask his opinion.
I had the Coloplast Titan Penile Implant Procedure December 13, 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in
February 2004. The Titan Penile Implant completely corrected my ED.
Just a suggestion, not a recommendation.

I am heading that way. The thing is that in Canada waiting time for this type of procedure is 2-3 years so meanwhile I have to get ready. I found a couple of references indicating that stretching or pumping helps minimize post-implant length loss. Thus I am doing both - pumping while taking the shower and stretching with the extender in the late evening. After 1 month I've gained 1/4" of the erected length which is not bad considering the fact I'll lose 1/2 - 1" after the procedure.
