Body Aches from Viagra

Postby Flannigan » Wed Nov 15, 2017 7:09 pm

Does anyone know why Viagra and Cialis and the other PDE5 Inhibitors cause such bad back and body aches ? I can't find anything on the internet that gives a good explanation for this. I get serious back and body aches that last for days sometimes after I use these drugs and I can't figure out why. And it's not because I am having sex all night or doing anything out of the ordinary. I know that some guys do experience aches and pains from these meds but can't find any explanation for it. They are effective for me but I can't use them anymore because the aches and pains are just too intense. I feel like I am 100 years old.

Thanks

I don't have the answer. I do know that they made me ache so bad that it was not worth taking them. Thank goodness I discovered Trimix!

Yeah...Trimix is VERY effective but I still wish I could just take a pill sometimes. I can't carry my Trimix around with me all the time and it kind of takes the spontaneity out of sex. Oh well...beats having body aches for a week.

Cheers

I don't have an answer either. I just know that I would get back aches lasting a couple of days, especially from Cialis.

Thanks for the few replies gents. I really think it's odd that so many men complain of back and body aches from these pills but yet no one can explain the reason for it. I have asked several urologists and non of them can offer me an answer but yet they have no problem doling them out like candy. I almost feel as if I am now suffering some permanent damage to my intestines from the constant bloating and now chronic lower back pain too. Big pharma is doing a great job of hiding the truth behind these meds.

According to morning steel.com "Cialis works by altering how your blood flows, thus enabling the engorgement of tissue that makes erections happen.

It increases your blood supply, especially in the larger veins around your groin — the legs, butt and lower back.

Imagine a rubber hose flooded with more water than it can handle. See how it stretches like a water balloon?

If it had nerves, how much do you suppose that would hurt"

This is a good analogy and I believe it makes sense. What I can't understand is that I stopped taking these meds over 4 months ago and I still have pains in my back, butt and legs. I am starting to wonder if I stretched out the blood vessels so much from using them too often and now they won't go back. Kind of like an old pair of socks that the elastic is worn out. I also have a bloated stomach and digestive issues that are not correcting themselves. My blood pressure has also gone up significantly. I am fairly confident that these are all long term side effects from these drugs but Big Pharma does a good job of hiding these long term effects. I just pray that one day I can return to my old self.

Pain in the low back, into the butt cheek and down the leg sounds like sciatica... you should speak to your family doctor.

Been there done that already. I have seen too many doctors to count at this point. I had sciatica pain a few years ago and it finally subsided with stretching and some physical therapy. The pain I have now comes and goes in my hips, butt and legs but my lower back pain is constant. I am not sure how much of what I am dealing with stems from the Viagra but all I know is that I never had any of these issues until I started taking the Viagra and Cialis. It's also caused stomach bloating and increased my blood pressure. It's reduced the overall quality of my life.
