Sure. Dr. Shaw at Elmendorf Hospital. The soonest he would be available is Monday, but I have an appointment with him Wednesday afternoon, anyway. This is not an emergency. I am just anxious to start cycling as soon as possible. I believe early cycling (if pain permits) leads to better outcome and sooner.

Is Shaw a VA or AF dr? I know VA has secure messaging for their dr.

My pump was for quite a while attached to the skin. Warm baths definitely helped.

Dr.Shaw is acrtive duty Lt Col, USAF. VA and USAF havce an arrangement (not unlike the VA has with civilian Doctors) for Veteran medical care.

They (Hospital) told me the VA Secure Messaging does not connect to the active duty military version of secure messaging. Getting into that system seems to be too involved and in any event would not be any quicker than telephone calls.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.

There is a problem called "Testicular Torsion". The biggest symptom is pain. It is very serious and an emergency. If that's what's going on, you should be seen immediately.

I'v heard of that. Don't know much about it, but doubt that is the case here. Dr. Shaw did a vasectomy at the same time as the implant and suggested the feeling that my testicle was trying to re-ascend into my abdomen was an artifact of that part of the operation.

I started this thread because I just want to pull the ball back down where it will be away from the pump so I can deflate and inflate comfortably and certainly.
