using a VED after implant??

Postby dmikesaw » Sun Dec 25, 2011 12:10 am

I am suffering from floppy head due to the fact that my implant tips stop short of my glans. This is causing problems with intercourse, and I am wondering if using my old VED might help? I used it for months before my implant and it always made the glans very big/hard. My penis shaft is hard enough for sex now(although much smaller than before), but it is the glans/head that is causing the problem.

I am wondering what negative effect, if any, could result to the device, or to my body? I mean, I wouldn't want the forced vaccum (from the VED)to pull the reservoir out of my abdomen; pull the pump bulb out of my scrotum; pull the cylinder tips through the end of my glans, etc.

Do any of you have info on VED usage/safety for implanted men (I have the AMD LGX, by the way).

Most docs warn against such usage, but some implantees have had advice otherwise and presented with some positive results. I personally would try a cock ring (contact Gnome for information) or a revision. I know that you are an out of pocket guy and leery (with good reason) of a revision so my advice would be to use moderation in vacuum force if trying the VED and investigate various cock rings / constriction bands.
