Coloplast titan

Postby atb602 » Mon Nov 27, 2017 3:42 pm

Hey all, I have had a Coloplast titan implant now for roughly 5 years. The pump mechanism doesn't seem to be working now. Pump it about 3 times and nothing happens but the pump bulb stays flat and won't reinflate. Anyone have this problem? I'm thinking something is F'd up and will probably have to go see a urologist again, right? Thanks for any help.

Sorry that you are going through this, but yes, the visit to the urologist is your only option now.
54 years old, happily married for 30 years to a beautiful & outstanding lady. Onset ED at 49. Finally fixed on 11/08/2017 by the master Dr. Eid with a Titan XL 26, no RTEs! Previously had 3 AMS implants (LGX & CX), all botched.

Please create a signature. It makes things much easier to answer your questions without asking a lot of questions. Here's how you do it
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"

Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"

Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)

Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. I'm from Belleville, Ontario, CANADA. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait."

Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)

If you need further help, please ask, that's what I'm here for.

What has been your experience with the Titan? Did it correct your Peyronie's and have you enjoyed it?

I would return to the original implant surgeon.
27
Peyronie's: 6 months, indents cause loss of 0.5 inches of girth, fibrosis growing, caused ED.
ED: 10mg Cialis daily, getting headaches, not interested in VED/injections.
Considering implant to avoid a lifetime of cialis and to correct deformity.

During the first couple of years (2008-2009), my Titan bulb would frequently collapse when squeezed and took a long time - several minutes - to refill. Eventually it quit doing that and began to operate normally, which it still does nine years later (but I very rarely inflate it, so it doesn't have many opportunities to misbehave).
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.
Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.

So far everything has been cool. This is the only trouble I have had with it. It did take care of the peyronies issue. I wouldn't go as far as to say that I "enjoy" it, however it has corrected my problems and out of all available options, this I feel is the most tolerable.
