Slowly gathering info regarding an implant. Does anyone have an opinion on Dr. Jason Kovac? I continue to be treated by a doctor in the Urology of Indiana group. Dr. Kovac performs implant surgery within the same group, so know I would have insurance coverage.
Any other implant surgeons in the Indy area, that anyone can recommend??

Age 72, married 30 years, had Robotic RP 8/06.17, non nerve sparing. Lengthy recovery problems after surgery & radiation. On hormone therapy so no libido. Use Trimix with results. Considering implant, concern re painful recovery

No responses.............so guess no one on the forum has had an implant from a doctor in the Indianapolis area. Is there an on line directory(s) available giving info on doctors regarding their expertise, and or, law suits brought against them. Maybe that info will be helpful. Thanks Rooster2 (Larry)

In September I had my implant performed by Dr. Matt Mellon in Indy. I would highly recommend him.
He has privileges at U of I hospitals and at the Indy VA, where I went for surgery. He and his chief resident, who's name escapes me at the moment, had an excellent bedside manner, answered all my questions, and did a great job on me. I am a retired hospital CEO, I am experienced at evaluating surgeons and physicians. Dr. Mellon rates high from my personal and professional experience.
