CX vs LGX

Hi everybody;
I am sure this has been asked before but there are 331 pages and I don't have that much time as my surgery is Thursday. Last time Dr. Brock implanted me he used the AMS CX. This time he is using the LGX... what is the difference? Thanks to my bionic brothers, in advance for the info.

the only thing I know is the lgx has the ability to gain you 20% on lenghth and girth the cx does not I have the lgx no complaints here

Larry my brother,After you waited so long your surgery is next week. My brother you'll be time. My CX only expands in girth. My dick is a nice length already but a thicker dick would be nice. An LGX on the other vhand an LGX increases in Length and girth over time. I'm praying for you my brother.

I am 11 weeks post-op and loving my LGX. Unless your sturgeon has specifically given you the choice between the two models, my advice is to rely on his expertise as he will know what suits your anatomy best. If he did give you the choice, it makes sense to go for the LGX if you are interested in maximizing your size. If you are well endowed already, maybe the length gain isn't wanted. Dr. Francois Eid in NYC installed an AMS 700 LGX about 18 mo ago, and I couldn't be happier. I get an erection that is fully as large as I ever got when younger (I am 77) even with Viagra. I get some girth increase and the expected 15-20 % increase in length compared to the relaxed length. And HARD - it can get just as hard as any natural erection even with Viagra, but this will require considerable finger pressure, although not difficult if you have normal hand strength, all within about 30-60 sec of pumping. As I understand it, both of these models have a portion towards the rear that does not inflate at all -- I think 4.5 cm. So a 21 cm implant of either model has 16.5 cm of inflatable cylinder. That't the portion that will expand in girth and become rigid. The cylinders in the LGX can increase approximately 20% as they inflate, and after they are "broken in". So that would mean the fully inflated length of the cylinders (and maybe therefore, your dick) could be up to 3.3 cm (20% of 16.5 cm) longer than the deflated length. It doesn't mean your dick will be 3.3 cm longer than it was, or necessarily than it would be with a properly sized CX.

Either model can turn a "grower" into a bit of a "shower". The LGX just allows for a little more "growing" from deflated to inflated. At least that's what I believe, and have experienced.

No implant will give you more than what have or in some cases had. Only penis exercises will do that. I wouldn't try them on an implant!

I was implanted with an LGX in April 2015 (2 years and 8 months ago.) I honestly didn't know anything about the different makes and models of implants at my first appointment but was pretty certain I'd reached the stage where an implant would be the next most likely option. (Had already gone through years of oral ED meds; then on to Caverject/Edex and a pump for the days between injections.) Cock rings were helping years before I ever began any pills or injections. Venous Leakage was diagnosed about 30 years ago.

I totally trusted all the make/model choices to my urologist/surgeon. He'd had FAR more experience with implants than I had up 'til then. And I knew implant surgeries weren't a "now and then" procedure for him. The only choice he gave was between being prescribed Pentamix or going for the implant. Even at that, he did say that Pentamix would most likely work for some months and then taper off in effectiveness just as Caverject had. (Caverject was great for the first couple years. After then my erection was merely "good looking" but not at all useful. It'd fold up and collapse as soon as I tried to stick it in. Being gay, any penetrative sex for me was/is rectal but I WAS married to a female previously and past experience tells me it wasn't gonna go in one of those either!)

My urologist assured me he'd install "the Cadillac of implants!" (His exact words! LOL!) When I shared this with another of my doctors he asked, "Is he putting an Escalade in there?!" I told him I'm nowhere close to "Escalade size" down there!

Over the past 2.5 years, I could not be more thrilled with my AMS 700 LGX! It has most definitely lived up to its claims of length and girth expansion. Even though my husband's health issues have put sex on an almost perpetual back burner for us, we do have our intimate moments, be they few and far between. Just last week he was "down there" and commented how my length has increased at last .5 inches from pre-implant size. But even more noticeable is my girth. I never bothered measuring my girth before but wrapping my hand around it now, there's no doubt the increase is substantial. To have my husband say so validates it even more. He's not as caught up in the possibility of "wishful thinking" or "stretching the truth" as I might be! (In addition to other implant cycling, there one time I ALWAYS pump to max... in the shower. After a few minutes under the hot water stream, I can give another few squeezes. I'll leave myself erect after I step outta the shower 'til pulling my jeans on.)

But size isn't everything. The most amazing change post-implant is the intensity of my orgasms. When I couldn't get it up, usually I couldn't cum either... it was rare. The sensations to get there just weren't happening. Now, it's as if all those nerve endings are at the skin surface and reachable again! Orgasms feel at least as intense as when I was 18! PERHAPS in reality they're not quite there... but at age 63 they sure feel like they are!! I'm not complaining!!

I find that since my implant, my orgasms are as strong as they were before ED. I can come twice in an hour now. That rarely used to happen. I can keep up the stroking until my wife is satisfied. I love my implanted dick!
