Do you play first then inject for penetration? or vice versa?
Do you play first then inject for penetration? or vice versa?
When do you inject? I've been injecting after play time, but thinking about doing first. I'm getting mixed results with the issue being unable to orgasm. Thinking not having to stop, go into the bathroom and inject, then return for more play may be a contributing factor? Thoughts?
Married, 57 years old, 10 years of ED, 240lbs Doing Keto Tried PGE-1 - poor results + mucho pain. Trimix at 12-1-10 (PAP/PHE/PGE) but had pain at 40 units I've recently tried bimix mediocre results, but no pain.
Re: Do you play first then inject for penetration? or vice versa?
I have always injected first, consistent with early advice from both my urologist and my internist. They suggested, and I agree, that stopping to give yourself a shot "kind of spoils the moment."
I have experienced difficulty achieving orgasm ever since my ED cranked into high gear. My uro reminded me that while delayed orgasms are every young man's dream (to a point, of course), difficulty achieving same is consistent with ED in general and not not at all unusual with men with diabetes. The implication is that it's not the injection that's causing this, but whatever may be causing the ED is also causing the ejaculation issues. His advice was to "relax and keep trying". I did but did not have much progress. Frankly, my wife doesn't much enjoy continued thrusting after a certain point, so I usually just dismount and finish myself off by hand.
Ideal? Absolutely not. Better than a limp dick? You betcha!

Born 1948, wed 1969. BPH & Type II Diabetes at age 35. TURP-2002; ED even before that--diabetes. Cardiac valve surgery: 2007 & 2019. Poor results with pills. Started trimix injections in Nov, 2010. Great results from the very beginning.
Re: Do you play first then inject for penetration? or vice versa?
Either way is fine with me but that does highlight the main fault of injections. And that's the interruption and resultant mood damage. I would imagine that it's less of an issue for those that are proficient with the auto-injectors as it might be quick enough to cause minimal mood interruption.

OK, well I will have to try that next then and see what happens. I spend a lot of the time at the Y to my wifes delight for multiple O's before eventually leaving to inject myself. May be a little less time for her and I think I need to relax a little too and not stress on finishing. Wish I didn't have a CDL so perhaps a little herb would help with that.

Re: Do you play first then inject for penetration? or vice versa?
Been injecting for 10 months or so and got in to a pretty good routine. After injecting in takes 30 to 45 minutes to get a good erection. Plenty of time to play . It took a while to get the dosage right. Been using the same formula since day one so it was the amount that I was experimenting with but once I got where I wanted to be I use the same amount. Keep a record of dosage, injection time and progress of erection, then how long to get soft. I use 1 to 10 scale on erections. Of course I don't write this info down as it's happening I just go by memory after the fact. Good luck, experiment. Takes a little time but well worth it.

Because it takes some time to get good and hard, I would expect that before anything would be better.

I am single and have casual sexual partners and this is my routine:
I prefill syringes with only 4 units and store them like that in the freezer. I take out two and before sex, excuse myself to go to the bathroom to freshen up. I give myself the shot with Autoject and massage my penis for a couple minutes to distribute the medicine. I put on a tight underwear, loose silk shorts and a long dress shirt to cover up my growing erection. I start with Foreplay or going down on the girl or giving her a massage during which is reasonable to get a hard on, right? Then we proceed to sex.
I like to have sex for about 2 hours after which they are exhausted and I have to masturbate myself so they can finish me with hand or mouth which I happen to enjoy and blessed with a very intense orgasm. I don't have much ejaculate because the radiation killed my glands. I rarely can come inside my girl especially with condom on, but I'm cool with that.
After sex I shower and put my previous outfit back on to cover my erection which stayes for another hour or so.
I have sex once a day sometimes 2-3 times a week in a row. I know I'm not supposed to have consecutive injections, but that's what works for me after which my penis has a few days to rest lol.
So that's my routine and I'm extremely satisfied in so many ways.

Well it started here: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=9158
With the relevant part being goodwoodnow's answer to my query to his comment "Recent orgasm problems have been resolved so I am loving my injections!". His response:
Thanks for asking. It was mostly mental, which was what my uro said when I told her about my having a difficult time reaching orgasm. Mine were sometimes delayed, other times never happened in spite of great efforts by me and my wife to get me to cum. This pproblem persisted for several months. At first I thought it was the medication i was injecting. maybe it was making my penis feel numb after maybe 4 or 5 minutes. Then I read about a program, sponsored by Flesh Light, a company that sells masturbation devices that are sort of like vaginas inside a plastic cover. all sorts of goodies inside to stimulate your dick, but since it is inside the plastic cover you cannot apply a "death grip" as you jack off. (like you can't in real sex) Theres also a schedule which has you back off for a few weeks then start back masturbating only on their schedule, which is very little the first few weeks. when I started back I was directed to just enjoy. Don't even think about having an orgasm but if you do, just let it happen. My wife helped out with some of my "training"....actually I was re-training my cock to feel sensations and eventually after 6 weeks it worked. i added breathing exercises (taking deep breaths and letting them out very slowly for 10 -12 seconds. i even did some naked yoga before masturbating and eventually beofre sex with wife. I deliberately used the lessons I'd learned to my sex life. Go slowly. relax. let yourself feel the sensations. Dom't speed up. Be gentle. Refrain from excessive viewing of porn (a hard one for me masturbating). Don't be goal oriented. Be "in the present". As you start to build toward orgasm in wife's pussy, don't speed up. let yourself go!...be verbal, (I am very loud!) and just let yor body GO!
Sounds long complicated and "New Age"...yes it is that with the Yoga stretches and breathing stuff. But for me at least, it has worked. We;ve had great sex with lots of orgasms for both since I got over the initial issues.
Sorry if this is too much info. But you asked. Try it out. You'll like it I am quite sure. let me know how you do or if you have questions. Happy hardons to you!
A PM conversation resulted that hopefully isn't over, especially as I don't know poo about yoga or breathing exercises. From it I learned that a large part of his system was based on a program to cure "Masturbation Death Grip". Masturbation death grip is a non-medical term for a "syndrome" not medically recognized. It's also does not describe my situation. And if I risk speaking for goodwoodnow, it didn't describe his situation either. But who cares if it works. Here's a link to the site where the cure death grip program can be found: http://curedeathgrip.com/plan-fleshlight.html . I ordered the Mini-Lotus. I preferred the Flight (Instructor Model) for aesthetics and compactness but girth issues dissuaded me from that decision. I included my wife in the decision making. She actually picked out and ordered the specific model. I also shared with her the Mayo Clinic abstract I posted earlier ( https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-con ... c-20371358 ). We're in this together.
This post got kinda long, sorry. I can't endorse the aforementioned program as I haven't actually tried it yet. But hey, if it works it would be fantastic.
Sorry if I hijacked the thread.
Edited to fix a broken link.

Re: Do you play first then inject for penetration? or vice versa?
For most of the 4 yrs 3 months I've been injecting, I enjoyed maybe 10 -15minutes of play, then took a break to leave the bedroom to inject. (My wife is skittish about the injection process) It worked out pretty well, though as others have said, the "mood" had to be recreated, not too difficult with the generally super erections I get within 2-5 minutes of injecting.
But after years of this, I began to have problems reaching orgasms. I'd get SO close then the sensation would back off. To cum, which was not guaranteed, my wife would give me oral then a handjob, these after she'd had an orgasm or even 2 from intercourse. Often she'd be exhausted and have to "hand it over" to me to finish. Great effort and often 30 -45 minutes of working on it would be required. My orgasms when I had them were powerful, but the relief was almost as strong as the pleasure.
A big part of the "death grip"/flesh light "cure" was what my uro told me from the start of my orgasm problems.... "relax, don't think about it, the problem is in your head, not your penis" One idea my wife and I came to was to have me inject first then start to play and on to sex. doing it that way is a bigger turn on for both of us as we can enjoy the delightful process of getting aroused together, with lots of intense foreplay and a very erect penis all part of it. Then we are both turned on and really ready for intercourse. so guys, I say inject first then play. The play will be much more intense with a big hard and durable erection involved. enjoy!

Re: Do you play first then inject for penetration? or vice versa?
One more thought, and a vote for injecting before you even start to play: ED takes a while to develop for most of us who share the malady , which can actually be turned into a positive thanks to all of the remedies available to us. (Mine being injections, Alprostadil straight up.) As the condition started as an embarrassment and then built up slowly into a major problem, I think most of us still got erections. The problem was they were not reliable, either failing to launch altogether, or going soft soon after launch, or maybe ejaculating but too quickly to satisfy our partner via intercourse. /all bad. We felt it.
To compensate what'd we do? In my case and many others, I suspect, we started to hurry, hoping to "get "there" to orgasm before our erection went away. We started to WORRY about not getting erect or cumming, the worrying starting well before we even started to have sex.
Worrying and pleasure don't go together very well. Masturbating started to change too, over time. (At least for me it did! ) What had been the last reliable method to get aroused and get to an orgasm became a problem too. How to compensate? Why, to grip harder and stroke faster and harder of course. all self-defeating, by the way.
Part of the wonderful appeal of having good sex is the build -up, tension/pleasure. Before we had ED that came very natural even if we lacked the sophistication and open-mindedness we developed as we grew up. I doubt many 18 year olds ever think of losing their erections as they masturbate.
I think most if not all of us would benefit from having the medication in our systems when we start foreplay so our penises will swell to full erection just like a "natural" one. With the meds we should be able to remain erect for a good long while so there is no need to think"whoa, got a hardon! better start to do it soon, before I lose it". Relax, take your sweet time, and just KNOW your erection will last and stay very hard. (like that 18 year old only now able to last Think of all the things you (and your partner) can do with it. enjoy sex for the pleasure it is supposed to be, no worries!
