Hi Guys!
I can hardly believe it has already been 3 months since I had implant surgery. Time does fly when you are having fun! I want to provide an update on my experience, hopefully to help other guys in the same way I felt helped when I joined here. I will break it down as best I can

ED HISTORY
MY ED began at age 30 and I am now 61. All those years were highly frustrating. Back when the problems started I was told it was in my head. At the time there were not Penile Doppler Tests offered so my Venous Leak was not discovered, but the symptoms remained exactly the same for three decades. And the symptom was that I could get hard if I was flat on my back, but the moment I rolled over my erection was history. My wife and I made the best of it and she rode me and I have to admit I enjoyed the view looking up at her as she went up and down my dick. But, it really limited our sex life and eventually my ability to get hard lessened, even with injections, Muse, and all of the pills. Vacuum pumping was painful for me and not highly effective either.

IMPLANT SURGERY
I had my implant surgery on September 18th. I as very fortunate that I didn't need any pain pills and had very minimal bruising and swelling. I stayed on my back about 4 days, other than several short walks each day. As many guys here have said, ice is truly your best friend following surgery.

PENIS SIZE
From the time I was 16 until 50 my penis was about 5" flaccid and 6.5" hard. Then after years of ED and Prostatectomy surgery in 2014, I lost quite a bit of length. I ended up with a penis that was generally fully retracted when soft. It was really frustrating stepping up to the urinal and having to go on a search to find my dick to pull it out to pee. Sometimes I had to actually undo my pants and pull down the underwear to find it so I could urinate. On a great day my flaccid size was 2". My erect size was 5". In the months just prior to the implant I was developing Peyronies and my erection then was down to 4.5".

Prior to the implant my surgeon did the typical stretch test to let me know approximately what my post implant size would be. It was 4.5", although when I just lounged around and massaged my shaft it would be 5" in the soft state. I guess, at least in my case the Peyronies shortened it when it was erect.

I was left inflated following surgery and when I first measured it was just over 4". I know I was not inflated 100% so I figured the 4.5" estimate was what I would have. As I healed and was able to start cycling the implant I was very happy to see my penis was longer. Currently my measurement is 4" to 4.5" flaccid and just shy of 6" hard. This dimension is with ruler pressed to pubic bone, but with my fat pad the visible length is slightly less.

I had an appointment with my surgeon today and asked about additional growth with my AMS LGX. He is confident I will continue to see more size increase as I use it and the cylinders stretch. If I can get back to my lifelong 6.5" I will be ecstatic. Hell, I am already ecstatic. I do not have the biggest tool in the shed, but it is all mine and functions perfectly!!! I will keep it.

Oh, my girth was 5" pre implant. I never lost that dimension as I had lost penis length. Currently my girth is 5.5" at the base and 5.25" just below the glans.

SCROTUM
I used to have large low hanging balls. One doctor told me I should use Androgel for Low-T even though I didn't have that problem. He said it might help strengthen my erections. All it did was shrink my balls. I ended up with testicles the size of large grapes, but they are small enough that when I swim in cold water, they pull tight and disappear inside. Historically they barely pulled in from shrinkage or when I got an erection.

My pump is located low in my sac. I am happy with that placement. It gives me clear access for inflating and I have also noticed since there is tubing between the various components of the device, it really can not migrate upward. This keep my sac filled out a bit (not like the good ol' days, but more than the past decade) and I am also aware my balls are now hanging slightly lower again instead of riding high. I am far more comfortable when they are loose so this is a side benefit I am enjoying with the implant.

SEX & MASTURBATION
My wife and I are thoroughly enjoying our renewed sex life. It is just like old times. For a couple in their early 60's I am thrilled we both still want to be intimate. I have always had a very high sex drive, even when I had a non-functioning penis. My wife's drive is probably above average and I am grateful for that. We have been having sex 2-3 times per week for the past 7 weeks since I got the doctor's OK to go for it.

Even on days when my wife and I do have sex, I do not mind telling you I have been masturbating. It helps offset my higher sex drive. I have always enjoyed my time giving myself pleasure.

SENSATIONS
I have been asked how it feels to have an implant. At first I was aware of it, but now I really don't feel it. The first time my wife and I had sex I felt the tips of the cylinders pushing against my glans and it was a bit uncomfortable. I was fully inflated and had the hardest erection I have ever had, including as a horny teenager. I deflated it a bit and both my wife and I enjoyed it more. Now I inflate about 3/4 of the potential erection when we want to have sex.

I used to have intense feelings and great orgasms when I was younger. These past few years when my penis was not really getting hard the sensations diminished. Now I am beyond thrilled that I am feeling those old sensations again and my orgasms are intense. For those of you who are not aware, after the prostate is removed a man no longer ejaculates, or he has dry ejaculations. While I mourned the loss of that fluid that had always been the goal when having sex or jacking off, I soon learned I had always been too focused on the cum and not the sensations. I never came in buckets like the porn stars do. I typically had three quick spurts and then for me sex was over. Now, with the dry ejaculations I notice I have additional contractions I had not been aware of before. I also really notice the feelings on my penis, either when I am thrusting n my wife or stroking during masturbation. I am also keenly aware of the way my fingers feel while touching the various types of skin on my shaft, glans, and ballsac.

LOCKERROOM
I swim 5 days a week so I am in the gym lockerroom and showers regularly. I was self-conscious at first, thinking someone would know I had an implant. I did get a few looks at first, but I think it was just having seen me for several years with the retracted penis and suddenly seeing several inches of shaft. Being a typical man, I will tell you I feel a renewed sense of pride. I never shied away from the communal showers as my dick shrank, but especially after getting out of the cold pool and stripping off my Speedo, it was very humbling for sure. Now the pouch is filled out nicely and although my balls still contract, I no longer have to worry about penis shrinkage!!!

CLOTHING
I used to freeball quite often and with the implant I have had to back away from that. I still do with jeans, but in gym shorts, slacks, etc. the implant cylinders are rigid enough that my penis is way too obvious and I am no where near as hung as many guys here with implants. I have been a nude model for artists since I was 18 so I really don't mind if other people are aware I have a penis, but I don't want to offend anyone thinking I am getting an erection.

I own all types of underwear but find I am wearing boxer briefs most of the time. The regular boxers show too much shaft in most slacks and briefs and bikinis are no longer as comfortable with more shaft and that third testicle (the pump). I also bought a few pairs of Andrew Christian Air Briefs on Amazon. They have a free-floating pouch and are made of a very soft mesh fabric so they are super comfortable.

CYCLING the IMPLANT
I am in the habit of pumping to full erection as I am starting to wake up each morning. After a few minutes I try pumping again and often get another squeeze or two and feel it in my shaft and glans. I keep it inflated while I am getting ready and then deflate just before I get dressed. I typically then pump 3-5 squeezes before putting my pants on and wear it that way during the day. At night I pump up to full erection just like the morning session and leave it that way for about half and hour to an hour. Those times when it is hard is when I masturbate, but sex with my wife is additional erect time. I am hoping these twice daily sessions will maximize both my length and girth.

NUDITY
As I mentioned about, I have spent much of my life as a nude model for artists and my wife and I have enjoyed nude beaches when we have the opportunity to visit them on our travels. Currently I am on hiatus from both because as a newly implant man my penis points up when I am on my back. As a model I have to be able to do reclining poses and it would not be cool to look like I was partially hard and I would not want to offend anyone at the beach either.

I have already noticed in these first three months that my implant has relaxed a bit so my penis no longer points straight up when I am on my back. Now my shaft leans up towards my stomach with the glans just a couple inches off my abdomen. If I push it down, it usually lays flat, but sometimes it still sticks up a bit. I am hoping with some additional time that will go away and I can resume two activities I enjoy.

OVERALL COMMENT
I just wish I had done this much sooner. I am delighted with the results. I know I was lucky not to have the pain many guys feel, but I would do it again in a heartbeat. My advice is if you decide to get an implant, find a surgeon you trust. My surgeon is Dr. Ronald Anglade and while he is not one of the high volume surgeons many here swear by, I will let my positive experience and results speak for themselves. I personally don't find that as important as doing your homework and finding a good surgeon who cares about you and knows his stuff. I made a comment a few weeks back that I equate it to McDonalds versus the gourmet burger places that are so popular now. McD's says they have served billions and billions but their burgers suck. Some of the newer places make far superior burgers. Or contractors who build a couple beautiful custom homes per year instead of entire neighborhoods. It doesn’t make them less qualified. You may think those are bad analogies but if you do your due diligence you can find lower volume surgeons who will give you great results.

PHOTOS
I just took these pix minutes ago. The shorter flaccid picture is fully deflated, the longer flaccid one is how I am most of the day (it just feels better to me that way), the erect pix are both fully pumped, just to different angles. The color is funky on one, but it is just wear I was standing it had both inside and outside light on it. I kept my pubes shaved much of the year for decades. I hate seeing all the gray as they grow out. A fellow FT brother told me he colors his. I haven't decided if I will do that or shave it off again. I think hairy guys look really masculine, but I have very little body hair and my wife loves me smooth for sex and I like the feel of it too.
