Difference in feeling

Postby reallynow48 » Tue Dec 26, 2017 8:26 pm

i have already noticed not only do you not get erect by yourself anymore, but the places that used to be touched, kissed, whatever, don't work anymore to get you sexually aroused. Haven't even used it yet, have to waited for another week, but I am pretty sure sex with an implant is mechanical and i am very curious as to what it feels like.

You don't have a signature with any info telling when you were implanted so I have no idea what stage you are at. All I can say is I have an AMS LGX and I am extremely happy with mine. My surgery was Sept. 18th. And after several weeks of healing I started feeling all the sensations I used to have prior to ED troubles.

After 5 weeks my wife and I resumed sex. Yes, there is not that wonderful spontaneity of getting aroused just from the situation, but my "mechanical" erection sure beats no erection. I had a Prostate Cancer and my Prostate was removed so I no longer ejaculate but I have more intense orgasms now than I have had in many years. So I just want to reassure you that life with an implant can be great. Whether my wife touches my penis, give me oral pleasure, I am fucking her, or I am madturbating, I am thrilled with all of the feelings and sensations I have.

Sex is the result of many stimuli.... looking, kissing, touching, being touched, licking, tasting, sucking... ..our implants are simply tools that allow us to experience Intercourse again, that ability we lost to ED, prostate cancer or whatever misfortune befell us. While our surgeries may or may not have gone perfectly and the results may or may not have been ideal, we can fuck again!

I wish I could experience the sexual sensations I had as a young man but as I look back at 3 implants vs 2.5 years of Post-RP limpness, I am ecstatic to be able to fuck again......

Good luck man!

Please create a signature. It makes things much easier to answer your questions without asking a lot of questions. Here's how you do it
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"

Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"

Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)

Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. I'm from Belleville, Ontario, CANADA. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait."

Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)

If you need further help, please ask, that's what I'm here for.

I am 53, 27 days post op with an AMS 700 LGX 18cm with 4cm extenders. The day after my surgery my penis length was 1.75 inches. More girth, due to the incredible swelling but that went away at about 10 days. I had no pre measurement by my surgeon. Usually I am about 3.5 inches flaccid and a tad over 6 erect, pre op measurement by myself. So far from what i am gathering, which isn't much on the internet as far as real facts and data. You have different doctors showing there "techniques", which includes the guys with the largest PPI's. Its kinda like a selling point for them as I have read. I researched alot before having this surgery and no doctors would be honest of what to expect. Sure they post vids online, but unless you are sitting in front of that doctor beforehand and looking him in the face, you don't know what to expect. My doctor, never did a pre op measurement and from what I have read so far, there is a good reason they don't. That takes care of the guys that are "expecting" anything other than a mechanical hard on that you pump up. If they pre measure you at stretched length of 3 inches, you need to expect "at least" a three inch pumped up penis that works. Any other length or girth is "gravy". I have also read that a doctor will not give you any expectations of actual length post op. I don't care if they put a fence post in there and sew it up. For liability reasons and for litigation reasons, they will not give you any expectations except the same old line...............A PENILE IMPLANT WILL NOT INCREASE LENGTH, GIRTH, or anything else some snake oil salesman is selling online. I have my first pump up scheduled in 7 days. We will see. I have a question for the Board here. If you got a prosthetic leg wouldn't you think the surgeon would measure it before attaching it your body? Would the patient be told, no guarantees of length before or after surgery? Doesn't make alot of sense to me as do many things with this entire surgery. I promise you, and I have read what others "claim" about having the urge to have sex............in my 27 days since my surgery I haven't even had the same thought process about sex nor an "urge" to do anything with my prosthesis, other than just to pee. Anyone saying that they have the sexual urge to have intercourse are feeding you a line of bs. Not happening. That was the first thing I was told when I went pre op to talk to my doctor before the surgery. YOU WILL NEVER EXPERIENCE THE SEXUAL URGESTHAT YOU HAD BEFORE, plus you could have a porn star "work" on your penis for hours and she would give up from exhaustion. Unless you pump it up, you will never get another erection in your lifetime. Needless to say, if you don't really care about having sex with someone, how would they ever know now? Its all mechanical. Just my two cents so far.

Hi. I'm 18 days post op. Like you I have read the numerous posts from those pumping up on day 4 post op etc and thinking "how the hell"! I still ache a lot and both my new ball is still settling in with quite some aching and my shaft feels like it's connected to someone else! But I'm being patient and will wait til 5th Jan when I have my next scheduled appointment with the Dr and maybe they will begin the activation. I think every person reacts, heals, differing pain thresholds and expectations amongst other things. For me a hard duck to fuck with is the ultimate goal. So patience it is.

Yep, I guess. Mine was over 52 thousand dollars and counting. Lets see, thats how much an inch? Less and less of these implants are done every day. I really had no choice as an oral and vacuum devices were of no use to me. Pills made me feel weird and didn't work. I spent over 500 dollars on the best Vacuum device made, and it does absolutely nothing. I also have a weird pain on the outside of my testicles on both sides. Kinda like if someone took sandpaper and rubbed it on your skin for a long time. Its still the exact same as it was on day one, and its day 27.

Not sure what 52k in UK sterling equates to but regardless it appears there is no "straight line" to each persons recovery.

I did my research before deciding on this surgery. Watched videos and actually talked to some of the staffs of prominent penile implant surgeons in the US. To each his own but what I have noticed is no one would ever give me a straight answer. I was told I would have an erection for six weeks straight, as in post op I would be inflated. This came on my pre op visits to do all the tests, etc. to qualify to even be able to withstand this surgery. I did, and didn't take one pain pill or over the counter pain med. Very high pain tolerance. The night of post op I asked my surgeon as to why I wasn't erect, and he kinda avoided the question and said that, "We don't do that anymore, we used to" soooooooooooo, I am no doctor and left it as it was. I will say this much, I believe personally that a PPI is kinda like watching a Viagra commercial. How many guys are talking in the commercials and how many sexy, attractive women are on there, making dang sure there man has his blue or whatever pills he has. If not she will check his stuff to make sure, and provide them as needed. I believe men that have this surgery, not in all cases, are not trying to get there "manhood" back............its to get there wives back. From personal experience here, if your wife ain't getting it from you, all that means is that she is getting it from someone else. As Joe Friday used to say..........."Just the facts", that is the truth. :o

Reallynow48,
I am very sorry to hear of your unhappiness with your implant. I have to say though, that I don't know how you can know that I will never have the sexual urges that I had before. I say this because I do still have the urges I had before, and now with the dark heavy blanket of ED lifted, my urges are stronger than ever. I think there are many of our fellow bionic brothers who would tell you the same.
Wish you the best for achieving a hard, usable dick.
