Atrophy After Surgery

Postby Vagabond127 » Thu Jan 11, 2018 10:39 pm

If one has had atrophy for a while is all of the loss as a result of the atrophy gained back after the surgery?

In my case my erection measured 6.5" from the time I was 16-50. I started having ED at age 30. At age 50 I started noticing my penis getting smaller. My doctor at the time said it is common both with age and especially in men who have had ED for a long time. At age 58 I had Prostate Cancer and had a Prostatectomy. Following that I lost more length. Before implant surgery it was down to 4.5". Now at 3.5 months post-op my erect length is 6". My surgeon thinks I will gain more length in time with my AMS LGX. I am happy with what I have, but it would be great to end up back at my original size.

It also depends if you followed preop VED protocol . Whether you go with a Titan or AMS

It seems like everyone does VED. I didn't plan on doing it.

With Peyronies,
If you can use a VED without pain, I would recommend it. If you can't, don't use it! Peyronies usually requires extensive surgery. Ask doctor about a VED post opp and follow his advice.

I’m doing VED now 10 weeks post opt, my doctor advised me to do it for 8 weeks and I would be happy with results tho I’m a very happy and satisfied man now and wife has no complaints
I can see the benefits of using a ved post opt, I do it twice a day for about 30 min, it may not be for everyone but I have no problem using it
Pump, pills and Trimix no longer work
Surgery November 7, 2017 Dr Hakky. AMS CX

I have only done it a dozen times or so. It always leaves great big cherries on the head of my dick. :(

Please create a signature. It makes things much easier to answer your questions without asking a lot of questions. Here's how you do it
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"

Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"

Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)

Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. I'm from Belleville, Ontario, CANADA. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait."

Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)

If you need further help, please ask, that's what I'm here for.
