Going Bionic: A NEW HOPE

A quick post to say thank you to all who post and support here! I couldn’t have come this far without this forum. Without boring you with all of my details, I will say that I was diagnosed with peyronies, developed ED, tried pills, and decided to go bionic after researching here and a few other spots. I had no interest in injections and needed to stop the peyronies before it swiped more of my size...which I didn’t have extra to give away to begin with. I chose Dr. Kramer in Baltimore and on Jan.3 I was implanted. Even with being opened up well over an hour because of all my scar tissue, I was back at the hotel that night and had minimal swelling and pain. No oxy needed at all just some Tylenol.
Rested Thursday at the hotel, removed catheter and Friday returned home to NY. I was even able to do some driving. I was back at work Monday morning.
Today...just about four weeks after, I was able to activate pump and begin cycling. No major pain there either. Brothers I’m not bragging...I’m posting for those who have read the horror stories. It doesn’t have to work out that way. Trust your instincts, do your research, choose the right surgeon, and you will have a much better chance at a speedy recovery. God bless you guys and good luck. It’s a lousy hand we were delt, but there’s hope for ya!

Congratulations Joey. I am happy everything worked out for you. I had a similar experience. I am now 4 months post-op and life is great. One caution I would say for other guys reading this who do not yet have an implant is you did return to work really early and for most men it is critical to stay in bed a few days, use a lot of ice to prevent swelling, rest even after the days in bed, no lifting, etc. Our bodies all have different tolerances and healing capabilities. You and I happen to be in the lucky end of that deal, but for those who are not, they may need more down time.

Thanks guys! Greg I did return to work early. I was lucky. Everyone is different, but everything I did, I got the green light first from Doctor Kramer. I just wanted to show the guys that it doesn’t always turn out the other way...for the same reason you stated. Everyone is different. I also had almost no need for ice due to minimal swelling. Part of that is my body, but part of that is also due to choosing a skilled surgeon . Fellas, nothing is a guarantee but it’s nice to have hope. I would hate for someone to not go through with things because of th Making that they will definitely be swollen to the size of a grapefruit or in so much pain that they need constant narcotics. Do you know today I woke up smiling because I felt complete again for the first time in years. That’s priceless and I’d hate for even one other person to miss out on that!
