SHOULD I FREEZE TRIMX?

Postby dockuda » Fri Feb 02, 2018 11:13 pm

I am on my third vial of trimx and am frustrated that it expires before I can use lost of the trimix. I see that some guys have frozen the trimix. So I wanted to know can it really be frozen? Is it safe? And how long does it take to thaw?

Thanks

My pharmacy says DO NOT FREEZE right on the package. Other guys on FT seem to freeze it as a matter of course. Not sure what all that means.

Dear Friend.

It’s been a year since I have been using the same vial of Trimix kept frozen all this time. I got at least 120 injections out of it and after one year it has not lost its potency at all.
All the best.

Ask your doctor. I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Nothing I post should be construed as medical advice. Defer to your doctor in all matters.

I think most guys freeze their meds. I don't use trimix. I use straight alprostadil, which is the most perishable component of trimix. I do freeze it. Keeping it frozen it's been effective for 6 months. It only takes a very few minutes to thaw when removed from the freezer. I fill the syringe and throw it back in the freezer. I always check to make sure the liquid hasn't discolored there aren't any artifacts floating around in it. There are plenty of posts in different threads on the subject you can find with a search.

If your doctor says don't freeze it then you probably shouldn't freeze it.

If you do a search on this site for "freeze trimix," you'll find nearly 150 posts on the topic. By far, the experience of a majority of users favors freezing.

To add to the picture, I recently turned up a National Institutes of Health research study on the long term stability of trimix. The link is below. You can convert the Centigrade temps to Fahrenheit if you wish. Basically, they tested the stuff at room temp, typical refrigerator temp, frozen temp and super-frozen temp. By far, freezing produces the least product degradation and the longest life of all three of the ingredients.

My first vial had a 60 day expire date. 11-2- 17. I freeze it. I thaw the bottle under hot water. Fill syringe and put it back in freezer. About once every 4 days. I only use 4 units of trimix. It is still effective today 2-3-18 In fact I moved up to 5 units and damn near had priapism 4.5 hrs hard even with sedafed at 2 and 3.5 hrs cold packs and hot bath.

My vial label said freeze after use. Been filling 4 syringes and then freeze everything, syringes and vial. Takes 5 minutes to thaw syringe, same with vial at room temp. When I use all syringes I thaw vial and fill more syringes put everything back into freezer. Right now I'm 3 months past expiration date with no potency loss.

Once pharmacy said freeze it and shipped it to me in dry ice. Another pharmacy said to refrigerate it and just used a cold pack during shipping. Never understood why I'd get different instructions from different pharmacies. Hasn't anyone figured this out yet??

I use "expired" Trimix all the time. The only time I'll toss a vial of Trimix is when it's become so weak that it no longer works. Also state guidelines on compound pharmacies can come into play. In Florida, the posted expiration date is 45 days. In Texas its five months. Same product -- two different states -- expiration dates four months apart.

I have some Trimix from Talon Compounding in Texas, and it is now three months beyond the listed five-month expiration date. That means the juice is eight months old. I keep it refrigerated, not frozen.

So what's it like using eight-month old refrigerated Trimix? It still works, but I can tell the difference as it starts to degrade. I still get a good erection, but it's not the off-the-charts erection I experienced when the juice was fresh. With fresh juice, I achieve erections of great girth and a huge head -- like the porn stars. As the juice degrades, I lose some girth and the head isn't as flush. Also, I may have to inject twice my usual dosage to achieve the proper staying power.

Other than that everything is the same. I can inject with the old stuff and still achieve a suitable erection lasting 60-90 minutes.
I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.
