I didn't know that you could use a pump on an implant until about a month ago. By then I had given away my expensive Pos-T-Vac VED. I am over a year implanted. I use a penis pump. It is impossible to over pump. I am noticing that my flaccid is thicker than before.

Thank you Donnie. Are all penis pumps impossible to over pump or should I look for certain ones?

I'm using a penis pump purchased at an adult novelty store. There is a just enough suction to put a little stretch on my dick. I paid $20. For pre opp pumping, I would definitely use a medical grade VED not a penis pump
A penis pump is a toy.

Try to find one with a decent vacuum gauge.

I have a CTC 4000 pump which I have used after receiving the implant in June, 2015. It has helped immensely. The CTC people are very supportive and want you to get the best experience possible from your pump. It is programmable through a program that you download on your computer. You can adjust the sucking pressure and the time of each pressure. My pressure range is from 3-7. Before the implant, I would pump but because I could not achieve an erection, I never believed that I got the full benefit from the VED. Now with an erection, I get the full benefit.

I have been having trouble with my internet mail where my link to this forum is. That is a good idea. They have one on Amazon. I can play with it before time and see where I get a little results with out causing pain.

Thank you.

Thank you for that information. That pressure range gives me a starting point to use. Just waiting on word back for my surgery date. Woooooooo hoooooooooo! :D

I'd be surprised if the implant manufacturer or your surgeon would approve of using a VED after implant. There are just too many things to go wrong and possible benefits too minimal to justify the associated liability, that could be significant for them.

I think I will leave my good ol' VED pump in the drawer for now.
