Post-Op concern about pump/cylinders *Pics*

Have questions about the tubing and placement of cylinders...

Of course they wouldn't be able to do much if something IS out of place other than check it themselves and schedule a new surgery. (only if absolutely necessary)
I'm wondering if maybe the resident that deflated me the day after my surgery didn't deflate me all the way?
He didn't remove gauze before the deflation and he struggled to engage the deflate button.
Got the call back actually from the resident that deflated me. He said to keep pulling the pump to the bottom of the scrotum(where it sits anyways)
and I shouldn't have to move or mess with the right side tubing. He confirmed he did deflate me entirely so I trust his professional touch when feeling for deflation.
He also noted that when deflated the cylinders can push out of the skin a little. Looks like everything is normal. Maybe over time as the cylinders soften they'll just out less.
In like a year haha


Attached are pics of before and after. Along with a picture of the cylinder and tubing bulges near the base. (hard to take pics obviously but I feel tube)
The tubing going up the right side of my dick is uncomfortable and I can feel it when I move my right leg in certain positions.
Assuming that will get better over time or I'll get used to it. But I'm still in the "is this normal" stage of post op
Maybe I'll free ball more this weekend. I've been wearing boxer briefs and tucking it either straight up or to the right.

I promised myself I wouldn't be a worrier after my post-op I know I have a lot of healing to do.
I feel like I jumped the gun because I have almost no pain and it's been 4 days.

The bulge you are showing are normal. It is most probably the “dog ears”; a term used to refere to the point where the cylinders bend/fold. It can create discomfort at the beginning, but you will get use to it. Also, as the cylinders’ material goes through the cycling, they will become less stiff, and much more pliable, helping on the process of getting used to them.

As times goes by, things will start to settle. Things get amplified or hidden by the swelling. Once it subsides, then start to notice thing. Most of them will be your new normal, others will be discussed with your surgeon, etc. But at this point, nothing is reflecting of what in a couple of month will look like, and feel like. It is incredible that there will be a point that you will not even be aware of the pump until you need to use it.
