How Many Active! Members on Franktalk?

Postby newtoed » Fri Feb 23, 2018 2:14 am

There are millions of men with ED, but I’m wondering how many of us are here and what are the basic issues?

Where are you with your ED and sex life?
What would you like to achieve?
What would you have done differently?

I go first:

I’m single and I’ve been using Trimix for a year now and have a very satisfying dating life and sex about 3 times a week.
Probably will change my current 40/30/2 prescription to 30/20/1 because I always have 3-4 hour erections which are not painful, but very uncomfortable to conseal.
I wish I started Trimix 2-3 years earlier. Probably would have saved my marriage.

Thanks for participating. All the best!

I had ED for 30 years. Back when it started doctors knew less about ED and many of today’s treatments weren’t yet created. I was told it was all in my head. It was just a couple years ago that a new doctor I switched to prescribed a Penile Doppler test and it was determined a had a severe Venous Leak. My symptoms had never changed in 30 years so I am positive I had it all along. Various pills, injections, pumping, etc. allowed me to lead a very mediocre sex life until I finally got an implant 9/18/17.

My AMS LGX has changed my life. My penis is now fully functioning again and allows me to easily satisfy my high sex drive. My wife and I have sex 3-4 times a week and I jack off every day whether we have sex or not. I am feeling sensations I had been missing for years and pleasing my wife as I have not in decades. My dick had shrunk and now it is nearly back to my God-given size and I have a new zest for life.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

To answer your original question, the members page shows 6412 current members.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.
Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.

But I think the question is how many are active.

My ED started about 1995, about five years after being diagnosed with diabetes. First Viagra worked well starting with 25 mg but it slowly became less effective until even 150 mg had little effect. I started using a VED for a few years until I read about Trimix on FT. Trimix worked great for about three years until it slowly became ineffective.

I am now back on the VED which after many years, I have developed techniques which allow me to use it in a mostly satisfying way with good results.
Age 81
Diabetic
Pumping
Started Trimix injections 8/'11

I guess that would depend on your definition of active. We have several members that just read... never post. Some only post if they have a question about themselves and some post all the time. I would say if you are talking about the ones that post all the time, you are probably talking about less than 100. :)
