My opinion on Dr Eid
I feel like if DR Eid really had a passion for what he does he would accept all insurance. But let's be honest he is in it for the money. I am so disappointed he don't accept Medicaid. I mean he can be the best surgeon but is he really doing it to help others or just greed? It is my opinion that a good DR that loves his profession would work with all insurance. I give credit to those urologist that take all insurance including Medicare and Medicaid. Looking out for the disabled and all that is true passion. I want to thank Dr Perito for being the difference and accepting most insurance.
I am with God and I welcome God's will.

Medicaid doesn’t pay for penile implant for the most part.
54 years old, happily married for 30 years to a beautiful & outstanding lady. Onset ED at 49. Finally fixed on 11/08/2017 by the master Dr. Eid with a Titan XL 26, no RTEs! Previously had 3 AMS implants (LGX & CX), all botched.

Please create a signature. It makes things much easier to answer your questions without asking a lot of questions. Here's how you do it
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"
Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"
Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)
Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. I'm from Belleville, Ontario, CANADA. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait."
Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)
If you need further help, please ask, that's what I'm here for.

Medicaid is shit for coverage, granted it may be better than nothing. It is state funded. Here in town there may be one regular Dr that takes it. The problem how little they get paid. Medicare is completely different. If a Dr takes Mecicare they must accept what the assignment is and if you do not have supplemental you are responsible for 20% of that.
Private insurance is a differant ball game so is self pay. My secondary does not pay for any sexual inadequacy but must pay for a sex change.

Re: My opinion on Dr Eid
Thanks for the response and advice guys I did my signature as advised. I just was a little disappointed with Dr Eid because I know he is the best choice and this is a procedure I'm looking for my brother who is disabled and his erictile dysfunction is affecting him so I want to research him the best surgeon to not make the same mistakes I made. He has Medicare and Medicaid and they both cover him at any state in the us however Dr Eid only accepts Medicare but not Medicaid. But I know there are other doctors that do accept both I just would like to recommend him to a good urologist with good reviews that accepts both. If any advise please feel free to send me a private message. Thanks

Could you purchase private insurance? I think there is a 5 month wait until you could use the policy and then that would be your answer.

Re: My opinion on Dr Eid
I have Medicare and wanted to find a way to pay for my out of pocket. So I looked into a supplemental policy. That was fine and dandy except I couldn't use the policy for five months. If I paid my supplemental for five months I could have paid that amount out of pocket.
