I have spent a lot of time reading as many posts as I could and viewed countless photos trying to convince myself to get off the fence and getter done. It was davekill's post signing off...that gave me the final push. The first paragraph was so parallel to my own situation. Anyway, I was implanted march 6,2018 with an ams 700 Lgx 18cm with 2-2cm extenders. Everything went well. It was almost like watching a rerun of a movie-I knew what was going to happen before it happened. I just wanted to say thank you to all on FT for all of your wit and wisdom posts that helped me to become bionic.
THANK YOU AND MAY GOD BLESS!

Cool! You must be healing well. I was not really energetic enough to make posts to the internet until several days after my operation. Who was your surgeon, may I ask?

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Thank you for your best wishes. I am on day 3 and the swelling got worse and a little bruising, but nothing that is unexpected. As for my surgeon, I chose to go with my urologist who I have known and been a patient of for five years and he is aware of my medical situation. I will see him march 13 for a follow-up and will check and see if it is okay with him to post his name. I have a lot of respect for him and won't want to violate his trust. Hope you can understand.
I should mention that I was given pain medication in the recovery room, but haven't needed to take anything since. The first two days the pain was dull, but tolerable. Today, other than being sensitive to touch I have no pain.

I'm getting mine tomorrow morning. We'll have to keep in touch and compare our healing experience.
Suffered with ED for most of my life. Viagra then to Trimix then implanted 3/8/2018 with AMX 700 CX 21cm with 1cm RTE. 50 years old Urolift procedure performed 30 day prior to my implant surgery.

Day seven follow up report-Dr said everything looked good, the stitch's and bruising were what he expected to see at this point. Also I have added my urologist to my signature. If everything goes well, April 23 will be my activation day.
