The Bulge A Variety of Opinions

Postby Vagabond127 » Thu Mar 08, 2018 2:12 am

How big is a big bulge?

Some men don't seem to care and don't cover it at all.

Others are mortified and want and/or need it hide it.

I could care less about the bulge depending on the size but at the end of April what the heck would I wear?

There’s no doubt it can be a problem and I think more so if you have a Titan as I do. In some ways it’s uber flattering after years of a soft dick but in others can be a bit embarrassing so I do take care bearing in mind the circumstances or venue. Overall I too couldn’t care less. It works!!
Now Implanted 9/12/17. 52 years old with ED for over 20 years. Tried all the pills and injections. Update. Implanted with Titan 22 + 1. by DR Ralph Dec 9th London. Now in recovery and at 3 months feeling the journey was worth the pain.

I am of the opinion that people are aware men have penises so I don’t go to a lot of trouble to hide mine. I doubt there are many women who try to hide their breasts. In fact many wear bras that make them more prominent, including some padded to make them look larger. My bulge shows when I wear jeans, cords, lycra bike shorts, speedos when I swim laps, etc. I am comfortable with people seeing me. I do avoid showing too much when wearing dress slacks made of lightweight fabrics, loose gym shorts that allow my penis to stick out or flip around. It’s more out of consideration for others who either are embarrassed or offended by seeing that kind of thing. My deflated penis size is 5” and that is what my flaccid length was prior to shrinkage from ED and Prostatectomy. Obviously there are some guys with implants with much longer and thicker shafts than mine who may look like porn stars without doing something to camouflage their bulges. I think some of the guys who are self-conscious showing their bulge following implant surgery are because of the dramatic change in size from their pre-implant size. In my case I was just back to my God-given size. My visible bulge is actually smaller because my balls are much smaller today than in my younger years.

Following your surgery you will likely be left inflated and showing too much would be awkward. Once you have healed, by all means dress in whatever way you are comfortable.

I guess it depends on what you are calling by a bulge. All cocks and balls create bulges if they are average to large in size. It’s not just those of us with implants. So, if you are asking about what to expect following your implant surgery, my experience was having a partially inflated implant for several weeks, resulting in an obvious erection. I wore baggy clothes to disguise that. Some guys have major swelling and their scrotum ends up the size of a grapefruit. I did not have that. I believe it goes down after a week or two.

Then there is the bulge created by our new hardware. That will last as long as the implant. I don’t know what your flaccid and erect lengths are pre-implant, but keep in mind your flaccid may be considerably larger afterward than it is now. That means it is most likely your penis will show more in your clothes with an implant than it does now. You can either choose to embrace the new look or change how you dress to hide it.

Hugh, that is just semantics. I think it is understood here what is meant just as fully pumped still provides an implanted man with an erection, although it is not natural. Meriam-Webster dictionary defines flaccid as not stiff or firm so my use was not incorrect. When my implant is deflated it is neither stiff or firm so it still applies, at least in my case. Personally, I find using the same words for comparisons is helpful. You will see when I am not comparing I often use deflated.
