Implanted yesterday
I got my AMS LGX March 7, 2018. Pain was not bad. Got the catheter out today at noon. The Tech said to get some tite support underwear to keep everything pointed north. I know I’ll have more questions for y’all later. I’ve been reading the post and have learned a lot already. THANKS

It was infrpubic. I’m a colon cancer survivor and my stomach is starting to look like a road map.

Congratulations! Hope you have an easy and fast recovery. I can't wait till its my turn to become bionic. And you are right, this is a great forum. By the time you go for your implant, you know a LOT about what you should expect and how things go. Keep us posted.

Greg,
You said you love your sex life. Help me set my expectations please. I've only had ED for the last two years after my prostate cancer. Before that I was FULLy functional. The ED is even effecting me emotionally. How's the erection with the implant? Just to get the job done or back to how all/most of us were before ED?
Perhaps Larry who reviews the posts can help me with that.
Thanks

This does affect you emotionally and if you don't have support and understanding it can affect your relation and even your life. This takes some time to get through and come out on the other side with all of your sanity.
The erection quality is great, I do not believe that anything that is as good as it was before, but that don't mean that it not good. I have some issues with loss of sensitivity but still able to orgasm. The most important thing is to have a compassionate, willing and supportive partner . This is the one part of my life that needs to be improved after 52 years of marriage, we have been in and out of counseling for 30+ years to very little improvement .
The mechanical side of my implant is great, but my body has never been this old and I need to make small adjustments in all aspects. Life is pretty good.

Re: Implanted yesterday
I’m only on day five, so I can’t say much about what you sex life will be like. Most of the other post are positive though. So far things are eriely similar to the way they were. 1. It’s really hard to take a piss with a hard on. (You’re left partially inflated.) 2. If you push down hard enough to hit the toilet your heals come off the floor. (Haven’t had that problem since I was sixteen.) I think that is the definition of torque.

What angle is your penis at?
Is your dick really sensitive to the touch? Does it hurt to point it down?

It’s pointing at about the 2 o’clock position right now. I’m pretty sure that will change as the swelling goes down. It’s very sensitive to touch, but I’m sure that will pass. I didn’t know your Scrotum could be that color black and blue and you could still be breathing.
