Post Surgery

Postby JohnnyO » Mon Mar 12, 2018 9:08 am

I had a Titan implant done two weeks ago. Currently my penis is pointing really far to the left and straight up, it looks like I have a constant erection and it does not look normal.
Even going to the bathroom is difficult when I’m sitting because I always end up pissing on the floor.
Will this eventually drop down normally? I'm really not too happy right now!

I would call your surgeon and ask him why your dick is pointing straight up and to the left and how much it can be expected to improve.
For pissing if you cant bend it down, use a plastic container like a milk jug and cut off the top to give you plenty of room

Who was your surgeon? Please make a signature so we can answer your questions better.
Have you spoken to your surgeon since the surgery? Do you have a 2 week follow up scheduled? Have you talked about activation yet?

Sounds like your doctor is either not forthcoming with needed information or you are not asking enough questions. Two weeks out, I assume you are still pumped up just as you were left from surgery. You need to be in touch with your doctor and find out several things. 1 - When will he or she deflate you to a more normal level. 2 - When and how you can start inflating and deflating yourself. 3- When you can start using your penis for the use it is intended. There are a lot of other questions but basically you need to talk to your doctor and if he or she is not forthcoming then you need to find one that is. There is a lot of info on this site and I strongly suggest you make use of it. Good luck. It all gets better as you heal.
Implanted Dec 2016 by Dr. Morey, UTSW Dallas. AMS 700. BPH caused problems so Supra Pubic Catheter and Urolift Prostate implants. End results great. Botched implant by Dr. in Waco, TX 2006. After 10 years, went to Dr. Morey who made me whole.

I am very surprised by your post. My surgeon told me everything that he had done and what to expect when I got home. I knew I was left with my penis pointing up and it was to be left that way until my follow up appointment. It ended up due to swelling my penis was too stiff to bend at all so I could not use the toilet so he deflated it a bit so I could. The comment about to the left may mean it moved as you were getting in the car or something, but should be addressed so it doesn’t heal incorrectly.

In this case I fault your doctor if he did not tell you everything you should know and give you post-op printed instructions reiterating all of it. Even with everything my doctor told me, I felt compelled to ask questions to confirm everything that was said. You need to speak up so you are not left in the dark wondering what is going on. I hope you will call your doctor and get answers soon.

Thank you for responding.
I am new here, how do “I make a signature”?
I am going to see my doctor tomorrow, Dr. Paul Perito in Miami. I have asked him these questions and I will certainly ask again tomorrow. I am deflating myself and squeezing the penis at the same time, as far as I can tell it is completely deflated. Tomorrow I’m going to be inflating for the first time all the way.
He told me last week when I saw him that this week I could start using it. However, I’m still in a small bit of pain.
I saw him last week and he deflated it himself all the way and it still stayed pointing straight ahead and to the left, so he saw this a week ago.
Has this ever happened to anyone else? Will this eventually drop down naturally?

Write down every question you have so you are prepared next time you see Dr. Perito.
Don't feel like you have to use it for sex/masturbation right away just because the doctor said you could. If you're not ready there is no need to put yourself though any pain.

Here's how you make a Signature.
Click on your name in the top right corner and select "user control panel"

Then under the big letters "User Control Panel" there is a row of words... select "Profile"

Then down the left had side of the "User Control Panel" select "Edit Signature" (You might have Create Signature or something. I don't know exactly what you'll get because I already have a signature to edit)

Most guys put something like what I have, but you can put whatever you want. Here is mine -
"AMS 700 (18 + 2 rte's). Implanted March 30, 2017 by Dr. Brock of London, Ont, CANADA. Great surgeon. Went in to septic shock and had to have implant removed April 29, 2017. I'm from Belleville, Ontario, CANADA. Appt. for consult for second attempt is on November 6, 2017... I can't wait."

Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)

The Titan is stiffer than the AMS. The guys on here singing the praises of the AMS really are not trying to talk everyone into getting the AMS, just pointing out what you should know before you get the implant. From the many posts I have read, the Titan guys lovers don't like it pumped to the max. You COULD be that stiff from now on... ask your surgeon.

Maybe, but not all surgeons leave their patients pumped up and some (like mine) only pumped up about 25%... I wouldn't think that 25% would point up and left... that sounds like either the wrong implant for the patient or pumped to the hilt. :)

It will all sort itself out in time.
Mine was the same pointed left and up quite a bit....don’t stress it’s all for a reason....it will heal, you will cycle and you will have a cock that is king of the mountain.
