Penile Sleeve Questions

Just received the U and Me Time penile sleeve and it says you should run through hot water and stretch for 2-3 minutes before using each time. Is this really needed? Seems like it will kill the mood.

Also, do you still use your VED's adapter bushings (i.e. circular insert you put at end of cylinder) with the sleeve?

I have NO experience with sleeves. I would suggest experimenting in private like we did when learning to use the pump.

I am interested in this subject.
What is the advantage of using a sleeve? What problem(s) does it address?

I would like to hear your experiences with the sleeve and what you had to do to make it work(if it did) for you.

I have not used the sleeve yet, but the instructions say it has the following benefits:

1) Produces a better seal and requires much less lubricant to make the seal
2) By spreading the constriction over a wider area, it supposedly reduces or eliminates the hinge effect
3) More comfortable to use when pumping since the hard cylinder doesn't press against your body
4) More comfortable during sex since rings go over sleeve

I'll experiment and see if I get these benefits.

I have used a sleeve many times ... often even just for rehabbing and not for sex (because easier on the shaft with the rings etc).

I never thought about warming it up first. Might be a good idea. I used a medium size sleeve that I could just barely ooze thru when soft and slicked so that it would be a good tight fit when pumped up and actually prevent the bloated sausage look you get with a larger sleeve (or no sleeve). It just constricted the based and few inches up and gave it a much more hard and marbled look and feel. Still, a bit baseball bat shaped but nice. A large sleeve just gave the sausage look -- ok I suppose if you need all the girth you can get but the Missus complained it was TOO MUCH. Heh.

So consider that when purchasing these. I am 5.5" girth usually but when pumped goes well over 6.

The prices on that webpage were pretty good I think.

Does a portion of the sleeve enter her when having sex? If so, does this bother her?

it is the normal medium sleeve so it is only 1" sleeve and is very smooth and very flush with the shaft so no problem at all.

Been thinking of getting a extended medium sleeve (2" sleeve) just to see how that does -- shld keep the girth even trimmer farther up the shaft I think ..

I use a silicon sleeve adapter that fits perfect on my 1 3/4 in cylinder. Bought on ebay. Seals up perfect.

I to bought one of those u and me sleeves and I use it with the VED sleeve too , The U And ME sleeve keeps my junk out of the tube (ouch) just saying . 2 mins and take break and 2 mins take a break ...etc for about 20 mins a day. That seems to work for me don’t over do it

Intrigued by this thread I ordered one of the u and me sleeves and it arrived yesterday. I started experimenting with it last night.
Worked as advertised and I barely felt the ring(s) at all.
I also searched this site for other posts concerning the sleeve.
Someone, a few years ago, said he used two rings with the sleeve. One with higher tension than the other. He clipped the "ears" from
the lower tension ring and put that one on first. He then put the higher tension ring on the cylinder. The clipped "ears" made it
easier to fit the cylinder on.
I, of course, just had to try this!! When it was time to add the 2nd ring, after just 2 pumps,I found my dick pushing against the vacuum device at the top of the tube.
It did not feel as if there was anymore pressure than usual. Usually I just barely touch the vacuum and stop there.

I am considering a larger cylinder, but am wary of doing damage. These medical VED's are somewhat self limiting in the amount of vacuum they can create and
it doesn't feel like the vacuum has increased, in fact it feels a little less.
Could this be due to the sleeve? Any ideas or similar experiences?

This is interesting. I never put a ring on the sleeve first, but when I just used the sleeve on it felt it more difficult to create a full erection.

How long/how many pumps does it typically take you to fill the tube?
