Re: Need help to make the final decision
Most cyclingis arounf 4 weeks sex at 6
Re: Need help to make the final decision
Decision is made.....I'm gonna go with Dr. Eid. Your feedbacks helped a LOT!
1- the doc I was leaning towards takes about two hours of surgery "skin to skin",
2- rate of infection about 1-2%
3- and most importantly, recovery of 6-7 weeks! No cycling/pumping during that time. I'd never read/heard that long of a wait before you can even pump.
So, it will take me longer to get an appointment and have the surgery and my lady has to be patient a little longer, but I'll go with Dr. Eid. Until yesterday I was almost sure I'm going the other way
Thanks everyone!

Skin to skin?
AMS 700 CX 18cm. x 12mm. With 3cm. RTEs. 10/10/18
Re: Need help to make the final decision
Skin to skin, from what the nurse told me, is the actual time doctor is doing the procedure. Not including anesthesia and other preps or things they do after the doctor has sewed you up.

Eid is a nice guy. Does a lot of implants for years.
Eid will size you up for the implant and tell you how big you will be after you
get the implant. He injects you and measures you.
His staff is very nice and efficient. Everyone easy to deal with.
Eid does not use AMS.
Thought of seeing Kramer because he uses AMS.
Think he also can put in the Titan.
I was told Kramer will not tell you what size you will be after surgery.
He sizes you up during the operation.
They both try to get you the largest implant they think is best for you.
According to this site Kramer also does a lot of implants.
I don’t know about other guy but that does not mean anything.
I would like to know what I would be after the implant.
Good Luck

Skin to skin?
Where they actually touch your skin during the procedure high infection . Most now use some form of no touch procedure. There is some type anti bacterial material the cover your skin in. I think they make the incesion thru it. Dr also tripple glove at set points during the proecure one setcomes off. Eaid has a good video on his no touch procecure. In my procedure video you can see the prep

In order to be PROPERLY sized for an implant, you have to be opened up in the OR. There is no other way to do it. Also, doctors who will not use both implants are telling their patients that they are bought and paid for by the implant companies. Both brands have their strengths and weaknesses and the needs of the patient need to be considered NOT THE DOCTORS... If you are comfortable going to a doctor on Coloplast's payroll and improperly measuring, have at er... it's not my dick

Of course not! But my decision of implant, which is MY DECISION, is already made and regardless of which surgeon I go with, Coloplast is the implant of choice. In fact, Dr. Burnett who's one of my three choices, does 70% AMS and only 30% Coloplast. But in consulting with him, he totally agreed with my decision. Even if I would go with Kramer, Coloplast is the option. As you correctly said, that's patient's, and ONLY patient's, decision. Of course, after reading enough and education yourself so you know you are making the right choice.
As I summarized my understanding of the different implants, Titan (Coloplast) is harder when it's hard and AMS is softer when it's soft. One's choice depends on what you are looking to acheive and what you want to avoid. For me, harder erection outweighs the , possible, discomfort of more stiff flaccid penis.

That is absolutely NOT what I said. I said that the NEEDS of the patient need to be considered. Any doctor that would allow you to dictate you what you want should have their licence revoked. THEY are the doctor, not you. The doctor should find out if you have a preference and then find out if that is appropriate. You really have to go shopping for a doctor... first you have to find one that will allow you to say what you get and then you have to find out if they implant that particular one. Good Luck.
