where on the shaft for best results

So far i'm injecting about 1" from the base of the shaft. Results have not been good. I'm wondering if anyone has had better results mid-shaft or further up the shaft?
I started on a low dose trimix with 1,2, and 3 units. DR switched to a stronger dose. Started it at 2.5 then 3.5 units. Still not getting good results.
I'm starting to think I have a venous leak which brings up another question. Has anyone solved a venous leak with a strong dose of trimix?
I'm still searching for the sweet spot but don't want to inject too much to where I get the 4 hour erection. On second thought it may be worth it(LOL)

My first injection .3ml about 2" up from base strong mix of Trimix like a rock actually had to go in at the 3 hour mark and get drained. I get to try again in 2 weeks but he backed me down to .1ml. Hope that works Ill get a lot of shots out of 5ml vial

When I first started injecting I also was about one-inch from the base. The results were terrible. Nothing started happening until I moved further down the shaft. Now I am injecting 1-2 inches from the head of the penis. Much better by far.

I inject mid-shaft for best results. I have tried the one inch from the base of the penis area but found mid-way works best. I only inject about once a week. I do go from right to left and try to move the site a little from the previous injection but who knows cause it seems to work best in a certain area. I never have gotten hours long erections even doubled my dose one time...I do find after ejaculation the erection subsides, but an hour later it's very easy to get another raging hard-on...I found injections to be temperamental...I have frozen batches that have lasted 6-9 months...and others start to wane 3-6 months..And you don't realize how the potency has deteriorated until you inject with a fresh batch..It's all an adventure for sure...just keep on experimenting and I'm sure it will come together...( no pun intended)

Don't get too carried away with the doctor like his name, address, phone number, etc (anything that looks like advertising for him).. you can certainly say Dr. Jones (great Dr.)

I've been injecting for nearly 5 years(Alprostadil, up to 18 units recently.) Was using 12 but my erections weren't as strong or long as they had been. i've had great results, close to 100% erection success rate, no negatives like pain or lasting too long, though I do keep the Sudafed handy just in case.

i have always injected quite close to the base. i try, whether with my wife or solo, to get a bit "pumped" before i inject, so I have a larger target. My urologist suggested I try aiming close to the base when I started injecting. Said i was more sure to involve the entire penis that way. I found there is a very definite "sweet spot" low on the shaft, where the needle goes in with almost no resistance, where it is almost pulled into some soft tissue as I slowly push it in.

i realize we are all different but would encourage anyone who is having mixed results to go for the base!

I injected this last time closer to the head. It was a little more tougher to penetrate. Although it worked, i noticed that there was a little less staying power. I don't know if that had anything to do with where I injected or not, but I will return to the halfway point.
