Toto, we're not in......

Postby newbie443 » Mon Mar 19, 2018 10:24 pm

Nope. Not in Kansas. I made it East through a hole in some bad weather. Doc appointment tomorrow afternoon and surgery Wednesday afternoon. Woooo hooooo. I made it. :D

Supposed to be bad weather tomorrow but not so bad on Wednesday. Been almost 3 weeks since I had a cigar and will be at least another 3 plus weeks until I plan to smoke one. Man could I use one ur 50 about now. Along with good bourbon and rare beef steak. Once I get cleared to exercise again I will see about maybe one cigar and one oz. of good bourbon to celebrate. Maybe even a piece of rare cow. :D Fer now I'm still workin fer the best results.

Best wishes to all. Many thanks again for all the help.

Thanks Greg. Thanks to you guys and this web site I know to take it easy and follow the Docs instructions. Going to take a while to get there. I understand that. And I have a whole bunch of Tin Men, Scarecrows, and Lions with me for the journey to OZ. Following the Yellow Brick Road.

I believe one of the best ways to overcome nerves and to heal is with humor. You’ve got it going so I bet you will be fine, Ruby Slippers and all.

It takes the courage that Lion lacked to go through this...
Best wishes for a speedy recovery and great outcome.

Wooo hooo I made it to the start of getting a lost part of my life back. I feel like I do have the courage the Lion had in the end (took me about as long also), the brain of the Scarecrow to be here and do the research, the heart of the Tin Man I'm working on. I have lots of good role models on this place to learn from.

Well ifin yall git word of a feller with high heeled red slippers running around, thet would be me. ;)
