My Doc was in recovery when I woke. He had my AMS packet and told me the size. 2 days later at a post op check he contacted the AMS rep and obtained and provided me with serial numbers and model numbers of each component.

It might be in your chart. Ask your nurse or your doc or the doc's resident when you see them.

This info is also on the card they are suppose to give you, which could become necessary if/when you travel. :)

Hmm I never recieved any card or letter afterwards. I am in the UK and maybe they just do it differently here. I will push for the info on my follow up.

day 4 update
Healing extremely well. No swelling and very little pain. Only some discomfort going from lying down to standing up and the weight of the pump becomes apparent. I do occasionaly get a sharp pain from the 'dog ears' of the implant when my penis folds sideways. Im hoping the penis will de sensetize to this over time. I can feel the pump easily with my hand but the bulb feels very hard and slippery. Will there always be some pain when squeezing this or will it eventually be pain free?
Overall im happy with my progress.

Same thing here, know I have the AMS 700 but no other details, I'm pleased with my implant so don't really care to much.
Hello, married to a beautiful wife who helped me make this decision. Had the AMS 700 implanted 18 months ago and love it. Here to help if anyone needs any advice. I'm 59 and from the Pittsburgh area.

Pain will go away and it will become part of your body.

The card is from the company (AMS/Coloplast) but given to you from the doctor. Each piece of the implant has stickers that contain the serial number and lot number and size. They are suppose to pull the stickers off, put them on the card and then give it to you. My second one was not a card but was on a letter format. :)

A couple of update pics. Just excited to see my penis at flacid pointing out at about 3-4 o clock. This would never have happened without seriously contracting the pc muscle with a full erection and would only stay there for a few seconds. Feels already like what it used to be as a teenager.

Any tips for sleeping at night? My pump feels so heavy especially at night it prevents me from sleeping
