So glad to hear you are doing well. Very encouraging for those of us waiting for or contemplating surgery. My turn is coming up soon but still waiting for insurance to give me the green light. Take Dr easy my friend.

Praying things work out good for you
Hello, married to a beautiful wife who helped me make this decision. Had the AMS 700 implanted 18 months ago and love it. Here to help if anyone needs any advice. I'm 59 and from the Pittsburgh area.

There's no place likre home

Well I made it home. Seems when the swelling went down in my penis it woke up. Not really a WTF deal but more a Hello kind of thing. I took one of the pain pills to see how sick it made me and I did ok. Took one yesterday before I left for the airport. I guess it helped some and I took another 6 hrs. later for my second leg of my trip. Neither flight was comfortable and took a bit of teeth gritting. Thing is when I made it home the pain meds kicked in good and I was really moving well. I had to remind my self to slow down several times. No more pain meds and back to taking it easy.

That's what I think has started. Little sharp burning spots along my penis. Sometimes bunches of them together over a area. IDK I'm just a week in. Every thing I have read says things get better after 2 weeks. At 3 weeks I can start aerobic exercising again so I should be able to do most stuff by then.

Supposed to be bad weather tomorrow but not so bad on Wednesday. Been almost 3 weeks since I had a cigar and will be at least another 3 plus weeks until I plan to smoke one. Man could I use one ur 50 about now. Along with good bourbon and rare beef steak. Once I get cleared to exercise again I will see about maybe one cigar and one oz. of good bourbon to celebrate. Maybe even a piece of rare cow. :D Fer now I'm still workin fer the best results.

Best wishes to all. Many thanks again for all the help.

Let me guess... a diet coke to wash it all down. :D

I don't drink much pop theses days. I've replaced it with coffee. I do decaf when I can. I have a cup here now along with water. I drink coffee from when I get up till I go to bed at night.

Coffee and a 'movie'. My wake up ritual. Then coffee all day! Love creamer. Hate hazelnut!

I mostly drink just coffee. None of the whistles and bells. Just plain old black coffee. That way I can drink as much as I want and I don't have to count any calories or carbs. My favorite place to eat out is anywhere that brings me my own pot of coffee. My cup always has a hole in it and sets empty for most of the time if I don't have my own pot.

Wow, the flight home kinda did a number on me. I took 2 pain pills and they didn't seem to work much till I was getting close to home. Then I felt really good and moved way to fast getting home and unpacking. Spent most of the last 2 days in bed. No more pain pills.

My discharge instructions said to wear the supporter for 1-2 weeks. It was 1 week yesterday afternoon and I was so happy to take it off for good I hope. Another few days taking it easy and I hope to start getting out to see family and friends for Easter.
