That’s a great point.... risks are higher with a revision.

Rick61, I must respectfully disagree.

The soongiosum tissue of the glans and shaft, no matter how engorged, cannot provide anywhere near the rigidity of the corpus cavernosum. The O.P.'s picture shows the implant about 3cm or a little more than an inch short of where the tunica (and any implant) normally extends to. An engorged glans flopping atop a rigid shaft is not optimal for sex.

The tunica albuginea normally extends into the glans. The corpus cavernosum inflates the tunica to provide rigidity to the penis all the way into the glans. The pictures in Ruktitan's first post show that the implant is far short of the end of the tunica, so the implant's rigidity is short of what the tunica previously provided.

The corpus spongiosum cannot provide the degree of stiffness previously provided by the corpus cavernosum because it is not constrained by the tough, fibrous tunica. It engorges to a degree of firmess , but not what I would call rigidity.

That last inch or so of Ruktitan's penis, no matter how engorged it gets, is not going to provide rigidity. Also, some men find that the corpus spongiosum does not engorge (depends on the cause of their ED).

I edited this post because I think I came across as a self-proclaimed expert in its original incarnation. I am just a layperson. I studied up on penile anatomy before my implant, but I only have experience with one penis, mine. There is a LOT I don't know.

Completely agree. The head does get engorged and does become firm. However it feels detatched from the shaft. Right now I get no pleasure from the shaft at all and the glans seems painful as it is just moving freely around on two ends of cylinders. I cant wait to hear the surgeons explanation.

Okay would everyone be able to look at my dick again. Managed to pump up a little tonight and looking down and feeling it. One cylinder seems to be pushing out at an angle into the side of my shaft just below my glans.
I also wondered where you guys perform a stretch test from? Is it the shaft or the glans because when pulling on the glans it gets me back to my original penis length and i can clearly see where the cylinders stop (shown with arrows). If you pull on your glans is your cylinders still right up there in the tip?
Sorry for all the questions. I just dont want the surgeon to try convince me that this is okay next week. I want to be prepared to fight my corner.
Thanks all

If I pull on my glans the tips of the cylinders are still in the glans.

With my implant in place I really can’t stretch my penis. The glans stretches a fraction, but not much so the cylinders stay in place.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Now I have the implant stretching is not really possible. There is no doubt in my mind that you have been undersized by some margin. Can’t see the surgeon offering up any sensible reason for why your implant size is too short. This really does seem like you will need a revision urgently. Best wishes with the meeting as I’m sure it will be sorted albeit you may need another surgery to sort. Wishing you the very best result ASAP.
Now Implanted 9/12/17. 52 years old with ED for over 20 years. Tried all the pills and injections. Update. Implanted with Titan 22 + 1. by DR Ralph Dec 9th London. Now in recovery and at 3 months feeling the journey was worth the pain.

In a weird way this fills me with hope considering I can stretch at least 1.5 inches I may have some chance still at getting the result i want. Depending on what the sugeon says I may ask for the revision to be done by Ralph, obviously trying not to burn any bridges.

You will be fine. I’m sure of that. This is unquestionably a very bad mistake and must be rectified. It will be. I’m sure of that.

Sorry to hear of your problem - it definitely looks like you have been left short, so would contact your surgeon asap.

I had mine done last Monday, and I can feel that the shaft goes right into the glans

I hope you get a good solution
