Had my Titan for a year and have a question concerning the pump. After about 8-10 pumps the pump itself becomes as hard as a marble.
I have very good hand strength, so that isn't the issue. I had my first implant in January 2017 and because of floppy head from being undersized I had a revision 3 months later with Kramer.
He removed everything except the reservoir which he said should be okay? I wonder if air may have gotten in the lines during the revision which has resulted in air lock?
I've read many of the Titan guys saying they pump 20-30 pumps with one hand, i would require vice grips and Percocet in order to get that many pumps.
Any advise would be appreciated

Re: Titan Pump
As long as your implant becomes fully erect with the 10 pumps I don’t see an issue. There are vast differences in the number of pumps people can get in. Normally if there is a problem the pump will stay flat.

It only takes 10 pumps to get hard? That would mean pumping up would only take about 10 seconds
26 years old. USA. ED problem since teenage years. Doctor prescribed ED meds showing some efficacy but not a guarantee. As much as I’d like the implant I now think I should hold off if I’m seeing some results from pills

Everyone is different it usually takes more. It takes more than one pump per second. You’re supposed to use firm slow squeezes except for the first which should be sharp to activate the pump. After you compress the pump fully, you have to wait for it to fill again before another pump. It doesn’t refill instantaneously.

Can pumping too rapidly cause damage or increase risk of device failure? Sorry for all the questions.

Re: Titan Pump
Always wait until the pump refills completely before you pump again. Do that and you’ll be fine.

I too get hard as a rock in 5 to 10 pumps. After that IF I can pump at all, I can tell that it is NOT changing the size, it is just overflowing which is a safety feature... once filled, you can pump until the cows come home, it won't change. You can speak to a representative from AMS by calling 1 (844) 4ED-CURE. If you have to leave a message, they are very good at returning the call.

Good afternoon Larry,
How easy is it know when you've reached an optimal amount of pumping? I'm sure hardness obviously tells you but how can you be exactly sure? Does it take a long time to figure out your "sweet spot" for number of pumps? (Ideally I would eventually figure out the exact number I like to use each time)

Oh sorry, I just noticed that you said you had a Titan. I have an AMS. You are correct, there really is no way to tell, for certain, if it's pumped to the max. I only know because when I am at my max, I don't have enough skin left to close my eyes. No, really, in all seriousness, when I am pumped up all the way it is just on the verge of being too uncomfortable. I have noticed, on my pump, there seems to be a few areas that are damn near impossible to pump and others where it is reasonably easy. All of my pumps are, what others refer to as "wall to wall", meaning complete slow, full pumps. Hope this answers your question.

Damn, I had no idea pumping was such a difficult challenge. I still enjoy the idea of an implant but the difficulty of pumping is making me scared
