I am scheduled for a "green light" laser procedure in 3 days. This is to improve urine flow, which has decreased dramatically in recent month. Retaining urine became a serious issue requiring hospitalization for 3 days to clean out my bladder and prostate using a catheter. As the date approaches, I am getting concerned about the effect this procedure may have on my ability to get erections (I've been having great success with injections) and to ejaculate (which has gotten difficult at times over the past few months). As i understand it retaining liquid can cause serious, possibly even fatal kidney problems, so I need to address it, green light being the best available treatment now, fewest side effects too. But I love sex, my erections and love my still substantial ejaculations too.
Anyone out there with similar issues/treatment experiences? Please share ! Thanks. I have been using injections with great results for over 4 1/2 years....

I never had the exact issue you have, but several years back I went to the urologist because my urine flow had decreased dramatically. They had a special urinal that I used and somehow it measured my flow. The doctor said I was down to 25% of the typical urine stream I should have had. He prescribed Flomax and within a short time I was back to normal.
I had ED prior to that issue and had the same pronblem afterward. My ED was caused by a severe Venous Leak so that finally was taken care of with an implant.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

Thanks for the info. I did try flomax, 2X over the past year, the last time for a few days before decided I needed the Green Light procedure. Unfortunately my system can't handle Flomax. It makes me seriously dizzy and light-headed to the point that i just can't take it safely.
i see an implant in my future , so welcome your "show and tell" offer ! From the numbers it seems you've had a happy outcome.

I had the Green light laser procedure March 2016 and have been injecting with trimix since March 2017. All is working fine, no problem with urination or erections.

Thanks to all who replied. Reassuring to hear from others who've been there and done that. "green light laser sounds like it belongs in Star Wars rather than my dick! Airpirate, I hope to use you as a role model with your great outcomes. I had the procedure done a week ago and all is well so far. But the Big Test will come (I hope) tonight. Thanks again all.

All's well! have been enjoying sex after green light laser procedure. Urination issues far better, actualy not even issues anymore. Sexually my erections have been fine as ever with my injections. Bringing a kit to keep meds cool while travelling.
My only mild complaint is that I still have to really "work on it" to reach orgasms, whether solo or with partner. But the procedure did not create that, it's been like that for several months, maybe 1/2 of the time. Any suggestions?

Did you do a TURP or one of the many other procedures? I had a TURP the old fashion way and it injured my balder neck which needs surgery 2 time a year because procedure scared the balder neck that grows together often and needs surgery. There is lots of good info online.
