OneMy turn one week from today

Hi guys- Leave for NY one week from today. Being implanted by Dr. Did on Friday 13 th of April. I'm not superstitious but I am a bit nervous. No way I'm backing out just pre-op jitters I guess. I met a wonderful woman 17 years younger than me last summer. We have a great relationship and we do have some great sex. To a point. I have yet to have a single really successful penatrative experience with her. Some of you guys will understand the psychological and emotional toll that can have on a man. I offer this information for those who may be on the fence about an implant. I have two choices, continue as things are and let my self esteem continue to erode until my inadequeces erode our relationship or get an implant. Seems like no choice at all. I will try to payback to you guys by posting my experiences as they unfold. My hope is that I will truly consummate my relationship with my girlfriend by Memorial Day. That's my plan. She is aware of my impending surgery and supports my decision. Well, there it is. Now back to the VED. Later

Good luck with the surgery. I’m 10 months post op. Smartest thing I ever did. Just take your time recovering. Everything will go back to the new normal but it takes some time.

Wishing you the best. I wish mine was coming up so soon. I'll meet with Dr. Eid and his brother Dr. Did on the 16th. Just have to wait my turn, I guess. Don't know how far out he'll schedule me.
