I am considering having either Dr. Francois Eid of New York or Dr. Larry Lipshultz of Houston perform the IPP surgery.
Would appreciate comments about your experience with Dr. Lipshutlz (or Dr. Eid for that matter).
Are you satisfied with Dr. Lipshultz's work and your IPP?
Thank you!

My recommendation is that you visit more than one surgeon in person, and consider your own reactions and judgement in addition to the recommendations and experiences of others. My perspective changed as a result of doing so.

I don't think any of us can rate doctors since I don't think but only a very few have personally had more than several implant experiences. I have had only one and Dr. Larry Lipshultz did mine. I think he did a great job and the whole experience was made easy as possible. Of course the Scott urology dept at Baylor is world famous and in particular in the field of IPP as they (Dr Scott) basically developed this device. Knowing that sorta added some credance to having Dr. Larry do my implant, I think. There are lots of doctors that I would think will do a good job or perhaps an excellent job and Dr. Larry is that guy. Baylor is part of the Houston Medical Complex which is probaly not matched any where in the world for a concentration of expertice in medical areas.
As for interviewing multiple doctors, I was totally comfortable with just the one visit I made, I went no further.
