First week cycling

Postby postra7777 » Wed Apr 04, 2018 5:12 pm

So this is my first week cycling. (Asked Dr and she said it was ok if I was comfortable with it). I have to tell you this puts me through a series of emotions when doing so. First time I pumped the pump was hard as a rock and I couldn't get but 2 or 3 in. Up until today I was only able to get about 10 in and I was hard as a rock but smaller than pre implant. Today I was able to get more than 10 in following some of the suggestions on here to take a break and massage the cylinders a little and pump some more. I was able to get more pumps in (actually a lot more) but it didn't seem to get any larger. Also the pump itself continued to get smaller and smaller with each pump. At one time it seemed like that the rigidity was actually going DOWN with each pump. I deflated and pumped back up and got the same result as above without the losing rigidity, however with each pump the bulb gets smaller and smaller and I really don't get much more size. So I don't know what the hell to think. I'm not trying to bitch here I'm just trying to see if what I am experiencing is normal. Yesterday I was able to pump about 10 times and got hard with some pain. Today, hard no pain but no extra length or girth with additional pumps. Geeze it really shouldn't be this hard. (no pun intended).
Suffered with ED for most of my life. Viagra then to Trimix then implanted 3/8/2018 with AMX 700 CX 21cm with 1cm RTE. 50 years old Urolift procedure performed 30 day prior to my implant surgery.

postra,
I don’t think you have anything to be concerned about. You are still healing and your Penile tissues are tight, as is the pump bulb. The day I started cycling I was at about 8-10 pumps when it waxed out and my length was 4.5”. It took a while to get to the 30 pumps I get now and it was some time to get to the 6” I achieve now when fully pumped.

The change I have had is simply from being fully healed and the pump getting easier to use. With my LGX I still have potential to gain the length and girth this model of implant promotes.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

It sound to me as if , either your reservoir wasn't sized properly for your device or insufficient fluid [filled to capacity] was added initially.

It would seem to me that you are running out of additional fluid to pump, unless there is some internal safety device for maximum pressure achieved.

Don't overdo.....and don't sweat being unsure of the results...day by day, week by week, you heal more and worry less.....Good luck man!

You have plenty if saline in your reservoir. Like others said, you have to allow your tissue to stretch and also the pump bulb to soften. In time you will be fine. Like Cat said, dont sweat it. You ll also see gains before long as well.

The pump can be glitchy at first. Take your time and pump daily.

Thanks guys. As with most guys this is uncharted territory for me and with all the latest horror stories I start to worry. I'll let you know of any changes. I overworked my pump today with all the worry so I think I'll give my nut sack a rest until tomorrow night. I can't wait to get used to this and know what I don't know now.

I asked my Dr for the LGX and I thought I received the LGX until my 2 week follow up. She said that she put in the CX due to my size. I wasn't happy as I wanted to have a natural flaccid state, however 3 weeks in it's nice to be the shower I never was. Not sure what difference there is between the CX and LGX other than the ability for the length and girth to expand 20%. I'm just hopeful that when it's all said and done both my wife and I are happy with the results.

I’ve had both the Cx and lgx. I’d say flaccid there’s little if any difference. The cx gets more rigid when pumped tho.
