At the moment I don't have medical insurance... although I am able to afford a private one.
Should I pay for a private insurance and see if they will help me pay for part of it... or should i just pay for the implant cash. Luckily I have a job right now that pays well... but it's contract based so no benefits. I have a good amount saved up. I'm thinking Kramer seems like a good option just because he's done thoudsanda of implants.
27, divorced no kids, ED since as long as I can remember, don't know the cause. Pills work but hate the sides/planning. Leaning towards an implant.

I would say dont hold back if its been plauging you this long. You will waste the best part of your life waiting for a miracle

Hey man since it says your ED didn't have a known cause how were you able to get insurance to pay?

Im in the UK and on NHS so its slightly different

Oh ok gotcha. Do you know what it would normally cost? I think I've heard around 20k
26 years old. USA. ED problem since teenage years. Doctor prescribed ED meds showing some efficacy but not a guarantee. As much as I’d like the implant I now think I should hold off if I’m seeing some results from pills

Hey guys does the LGX expanding capabilities expnd over time to make you longer and girthier than you were pre op or does it just help you get you were you originally were pre up ? I am not sure which one would be a better choice for me. The titan sounds more appealing due to it being able to produce a more rigid erection. Also what determines the angle of the erection post implant ? I see most guys here have an erection that points at 3 o clock or even lower .... but most Guys that are not bionic with normal erections point at 2 or even 1.

In my case my penis size from 16 until I began losing size from ED and Prostatectomy was 5” flaccid and 6.5” erect. After the Prostatectomy and with the onset of Peyronies my size just prior to implant was anywhere from fully retracted to 2” flaccid when pulled out and 4.5” erect. As soon as I was fully healed after getting my implant and I started cycling and got the bulb loose enough to fully pump up, my pumped size is 6” and unpumped is 5”. My surgeon says with the LGX there is a potential for 18-20% expansion, but that will take time. Some guys here talk about a year or longer. Oh, my pre-implant girth was 5” and with implant it is 5.5”, and again that may expand. The potential expansion is based on our penis tissues ability to stretch. There is no guarantee you will get it, but many guys do.

As for erection angle, I have seen what you have seen, with the majority of implanted guy’s dicks at 3 o’ Clock. When I was younger mine was a bit higher, but not much. I guess it is just the way the device fits into the body.

I am 64 and had ED from a VL. Implanted by Dr. Ronald Anglade in Atlanta on 9/18/17. I have an AMS700LGX 21 cm via a Penoscrotal incision. Very happy with results. 6" soft and 6 3/4” x 5 5/8” hard.

So I decided I wanted an implant and I had it done at USC cancer center by doctor Ginsberg. It was a ultrex and it lasted fifteen years. I wasted no time on getting it fixed or if I needed a revision, so be it. I still felt sexually active and I went ahead and had the revision. I was an out patient on both cases and this time I requested the LGX MS pump. I had done a lot of research as to which one I wanted and I liked the expanding and lengthing of the LGX and it was the best decision I could have made. It took a couple more weeks to heal up but now it is exactly what I always wanted.
So I say, do not waste any time. Find a good urologists that does that kind of surgery and I think you will never regret it. Second doctor that done the surgery on me for the revision was IIbeigi Pedram MD in Southern California.
If you need more information you can private message me and I will try to help.

I agree 110% Ray.

If you look for private insurance you should find out if they cover the procedure before signing up... it may be tricky because asking for specific questions will tip them off that there is a incoming claim and you could get denied or charged more for pre-existing condition. I would ask for a list of coverage by hospital codes if you can do you can find it yourself... the implant surgery code I found was “CPT 54405” for the Titan Coloplast implant. There may be others out there that shouldn’t be hard to find online.

Good luck!

My story is very similar to you except I’m 53 now. I’d definitely encourage you to look into injections before you consider the last resort of an implant. Injections are not painful at all and have been given me insane confidence and an amazing sex life.

I’m not against implants, there are many many guys here that are extremely happy with it and I’m sure one day I’ll need it too. Until then I’ll just use the most conservative option that works great for me.
All the best!

Hey newtoed, I am not against injections/pills... but I hate the planning that goes with it.. and the lack of spontaneity. I've never tried injections. During my marriage... I relied on pills... we settled for sex 1-2 times a week... mostly after a night of going out and drinking. Perhaps the drinking reduced the effectiveness of the pills as I know it reduces the effectiveness. Even with the pills working... I was always insecure... knowing that I couldn't fuk my wife the way I wanted to without having to pop a stupid pill and getting shitty side effects.. primarily nasty headaches. Right now I'm single and just terrified of even trying to date having to take pills. I am considering trying it out and coming clean to a women about my situation... but the chances of a 20 year old something girl understanding me and actually wanting to be long with me long term knowing that I rely on pills... well that seems highly unlikely to me. I guess If i had the implant it would weird some girls out but I think most would enjoy that I can fuk them for as long as I can. Of course I'm sure it's a huge learning/adaptive curve both physically and mentally...
Mentally having to affect that i will never have a natural hard on ... and that I would have to pump my ball sack to achieve an erection... it almost seems like a turnoff. How does it feel to fuk with an implant ? Does the erection feel artificial in anyway?? Does it feel cold since it's full of saline rather than blood? Does the penis still pulsate during and after orgasm? During a blow job can you feel your penis get harder at times like a regular blow job? I have so many questions... thanks for your replies guys. There is also the potential of word getting around that one has a penile implant when one is single and dating ... especially if things go awry and the women wants to get back at you.

Or you could just ask on here... with almost 7000 members, I'm pretty sure you could find what you are looking for. Right guys? Who has insurance that can be purchased by the average Joe and what is the company and specific policy if needed?

Dear Anthony,

I totally see your dilamma. I’m 53, single with a very active dating life with 3 girls in their 20’s and early 30’s. No, I did not reveal that I’m using injections, but after a year everything is going so well.
Sounds like insurance and cost is an issue for you. Why not give injections a try. It cost $200. Yes, you have to plan, but the erections are natural with no side effects at all. You can get your confidence back and have a lot of fun. You can always go for the implant like probably I will when the time comes.
All the best!
