When was Trimix invented? How long has it been around?
Why am I just now discovering it? I guess I was somewhat content/satisfied with Viagra and Cialis and thought that was as good as it gets? I didn't realize how much I was missing out. I've only used Trimix three times now and I'm excited about it as the results were pretty amazing! Kind of a little pissed that I've just now discovered it and have been missing out for so long.
Age 47. Married in 2005. Tampa Bay Florida USA. Got ED 24 years ago from being paralyzed. Made a 90% recovery. See profile for more info...

Agreed... that's what I said about my implant and I let a urologist and plastic surgeon ruin my anatomy instead of a skin graph and penile implant. These doctors should have his medical licence revoked for what they did to me.

Injections for erections predate the pills. For those for whom they work, the pills were seen as a cheaper, less invasive and easier alternative, resulting in their great popularity and fame. Pop a pill and get a boner. Magic, if it works. With the introduction of the blue pills the popularity of the injections diminished. I don't recall the dates of introduction. I think the PGE1 for ED was introduced in the 80s. Viagra some 10 or more years later.

I will say in defence of viagra, you could if you really want to get away with hiding it from women. An injection that produces a hard on bursting through your trousers and just doesn't subside for hours is another matter.
42yr, ED from mid 20s. Currently trailing Invicorp. Single dose of 0.35 ml contains 25 mcg Aviptadil and 2mg Phentolamine. First injection gave 4 hour erection with half standard dose placing me at risk of priapism. Help!

When was trimix invented? And how? The answer is so delightful that no one who's using the stuff should go another day without knowing. Here's a FrankTalk post I did a few years ago. It describes a scene at the American Urological Association convention in Las Vegas. Enjoy, and be glad that in this case, what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas.

Maybe this should be added to the permanent "reading material" file.

Are all "Tri-Mixes" the same three constituents? I gather not reading as I see other constituents like Viagra added and other things.
And even more confusing, how does the prescriber determine the mix ratio? My original was 20 mcg prostoglandin / 30 mg papavarine / 1 mg phentolomine per ml. The worksheet give ranges to select respectively from 0.5-60 mcg or "other", 20-30 mg or "other", and 0.5-6 mg or "other". Seems kinda sketchy.

LOL, but my wife wouldn't much care if I jammed rebar up there. She just wants it hard and long lasting. After a years vacation after pills stopped working, I am just amazed that it took so long for the medical community to recommend this. Bidoink, thanks for the reading list addition. I see you tracked down the original Web link. Nice work.
