Does anyone else like to inject just for the simple pleasure of having a proper erection after years of disappointment?

I believe it is important to inject 1-2 times a week to maintain injecting skills. I always masturbate with the Fleshlight if vaginal intercourse is not possible. But that's a personal decision.

The important thing is to keep testing your ability to inject properly and achieve a suitable erection, both in terms of firmness and duration. Staying active helps maintain confidence on those ocassions when real vaginal penetration is on the calendar.

I think it's so important for libido. When you have an erection one's desire goes up considerably at least for me. I guess if you develop a solid routine eventually it will feel like you are producing the erection not the injection. I know that's how i felt on viagra when it worked for me.

Since this is FrankTalk I will offer and observation and theory. 1. If it's been longer than say two weeks or so, the wife says the wad burns. Released every few days it does not. She also says the color is "off" - yellowish. This has been the case for many years. 2. The theory: we need to regularly empty the prostate to have better prostate health. Nasties form and cause inflammation and maybe worse things. My PSA has always been sub 1.0 and we've been active. Just my opinion. Now if it's been more than a week plus, I will "exorcise" the little devil to clean the next placed wad up as well as for better prostate health. And every few months I go on a complete many session manual release (I don't like the other "M" word) to clean it out completely.

I have also noticed the results of more frequent use like bigger (w/o Tri-Mix) and harder (with Tri-Mix). Taking L-Arginyne also. The exterior veins are much bigger also (and easier to hit). The moral if the story is use it or lose it. It's like sharpening your saw. Just opinions.

I've been injecting Alprostadil (aka Edex) for over 4 1/2 years. I love how I can get an erection "on demand" somewhat like when I was young. With a little help from my wife or my hands I've gotten nice firm erections from it whenever i injected , maybe 95 %. Alan, A word of warning: start out using a smaller dose than the doctor gives you in his/her office. I was so excited by my first awesome hardon that I called my wife and told her she had to get home to meet me, leaving work to do so. 2 days later on my first solo , I added a lttle bit of the med beyond the doctor's. result was a super erection that lasted 6 hours and involved calling my doctor at home after midnight and a run to the 24 hour store to buy Sudafed decongestant (4 tabs) to get it down. Luckily no damage was done. The Sudafed works and i've had to use is maybe monthly, as I remain really hard sometimes even after cumming! Good luck! Let us know how it works for you.

I only inject the amount the doctor told me to inject. Right now I'm at 30 and my erections are fabulous.
