Hey guys:
excuse the long post, but herre's my take on various elements of nudity.AAAH, Nudity. We both love it, although are not confirmed or dedicated nudists.
We both came from conservative families, had Catholic upbringing, all the usual. We were never uncomfortable with each others’ nudity. Most was “morning bathroom nudity”. We both slept naked from almost the time we were married. We were conservative around the kids when they came.
SOCIAL NUDITY
Fast forward to living in Calif in the mid-80s. We were exploring beaches and happened on a nude beach. Didn’t think much of it until I said do you realize we are the only ones here with anything on?? She said yes. I said When in Rome….. We undressed and enjoyed a long walk on the beach au natural. That got us very comfortable with social nudity. We went to nude beaches whenever the opportunity presented, Little Beach in Maui, White’s beach in Peter Island, Black’s beach and Carpenteria in CA. We have been to hot springs in Washington State and Texas. Been to Turo Beach on Cape Cod. We live in Houston now. There is a nude resort, called White Oak Resort Northwest of Houston. They cater to “lifestylers” (read swingers). We don’t swing and there is no pressure, but for the occasional invitation. We generally get there for a weekend a couple of times a year. That is very pleasant, walking around all weekend stark naked and it is a non-issue for anyone. I have a large frenum piercing and it attracts attention, mostly from the women. I have had a couple of requests for a ”test drive”, which I declined.
CULTURAL DIFFERENCES ABOUT NUDITY
Europeans tend to be much less inhibited about nudity than Americans. It is not unusual in Northern Europe to see men or women changing clothes right on the beach. They tend to use “mixed saunas” in which men and women are naked in the fitness facility. A case in point, I had a business trip to The Hague in the Netherlands. I got in about 1:30PM and had a 6PM dinner appointment. I did not dare to put my head on a pillow for fear of oversleeping. I looked through the hotel info and they said they had a fitness facility available with a pool and saunas. That seemed like just the thing I needed. I had brought a swimsuit and went to the office. I was issued a towel and a robe. The attendant said the lockers were downstairs. I went down and there was only one door. I went back, asked which was men’s and which was women’s. She said “bathing costumes” are unsanitary and they are not permitted, therefore, there is only one locker room. Well, OK. Bottom line was there were about 60 people in the place, all starkers, enjoying hot tubs, saunas and the pool without a bit of regard to the nudity. Told wife when I got home. Later I had another trip to The Hague and took her along. She said are you going to take me to your Naked place? We went and here reaction was why can’t Americans get over their puritanical foolishness.
MEDICAL NUDITY
From about my early 20s, I had knee problems and periodic jock itch that required cortisone, which at that time was prescription only. I was in my jockey shorts with the doc and a nurse examining my knee. The dermatologist was female. Besides feeling a little awkward when she said “let’s have a look”, it was totally clinical and a non-event. Very little other medical nudity until it came time for prostate exams. I use the Cancer Prevention Center at MD Anderson here in Houston. There were two PAs, very capable ladies who did my prostate and testicular examinations for about 15 years. After about three years, they were going to call for a “chaperone” I said, unless you feel it is necessary, I don’t need a chaperone, it is really more awkward than not. They dispensed with the chaperone. Ultimately, I came down with Prostate cancer. That was my real orientation to medical nudity, between biopsies, Rectal MRIs, cystoscopies, catheter removal, drain removal and in hospital examinations, it seemed like half the medical center had seen me naked down below and/or had their finger where the sun doesn’t shine. That paled to insignificance tho when my ED side effects from the prostatectomy did not respond to pills or pumps and my Uro recommended “injection therapy”. They made me an appointment for about a week hence. I arrived and the PA, an English lady with a pronounced accent asked if I knew anything about injection therapy. I said no, I have given allergy and insulin shots to neighbors and relatives from time to time. She said let me describe it, which she did. She also said some guys are too shy to go through with it. I said I am not shy, let’s go. She said let me check you for Pyronies and scar tissue. I dropped trou and she was finished in a minute or so. She made another appointment for the first injection in about a week and gave me a “blurb” about the process, complete with drawings. I arrived for the injection appointment. She greeted me, directed me to a room and said you “strip off” and I’ll be in shortly. I undressed from the waist down. There was no gown or other cover up, so I just sat on the examining table. She came in a few minutes later. She asked if I’d be more comfortable with a covering. I said I am OK, would you be more comfortable with me covered. She gave me a sly look and said “Love I do this all day”. I said “let’s go”. She proceeded to demonstrate the syringe, the vial of Trimix, etc. Said she would start with a low dose. She told me to ”fluff’ myself a bit so she could see any obvious veins. I did, she wiped me with alcohol and injected me. She said you should try and stimulate yourself, we will give it about fifteen minutes and I’ll stop back. About two minutes later, she came in with two Playboy magazines and said these might help. She said If I could go to climax, I should.
She came back and asked how it was going. I said I got lengthening and thickening, but no longitudinal stability, pretty much the same as with pills. She said let me check, which she did and she agreed. She said that’s all for today, lets try again next week. She also asked if my wife would be willing to come along and “help” me. I said yes, no problem.
Following week, we both arrived. She said she was going to double the dose based on last week’s results. While she was setting everything up, we were making small talk and she asked what we were doing for the rest of the day. Wife said I was taking her to a nice restaurant for lunch to make up for it. She laughed. As it was I got a colossal hard on, best since prostate surgery. Wife alternated between a bj and hand action. She asked me if she should make me cum? I said I don’t know. Wife stuck her head out the door and asked the PA. She said “if you don’t, there will probably not be lunch at a fancy restaurant.” We all three cracked up and wife closed the door and brought me off.
My implant surgery was basically a rerun of the prostate surgery as far as medical nudity is concerned. As a result, all modesty is gone.
ACCIDENTAL NUDITY
We live back from the road and on three acres, so no one can see us from a street. We are empty nesters. Accordingly, we do not need to be concerned about what, whether or if we are wearing. Wife’s twin sister, a widow lady came to visit and wife said Let’s be careful, we cannot be running around and “flashing” Kay. We agreed. One afternoon, wife and sister-in-law (SIL) were out shopping and came home. I was out on the driveway cutting shrubbery. It was hot and I was sweating. SIL said come in soon and have a beer, you look like you need it. I came in about fifteen minutes later. SIL is a smoker. When I came into the house, I called and said I was in. Got not answer. Figured the girls were out on the back patio for her to have a smoke. As is my custom, I stripped, tossed all my sweaty work clothes in the washer and went up to our bathroom for a shower. What to my wondering eyes should appear, but wife and SIL walking out of the master closet. Here I am dripping sweat and stark naked. What to do?? I figured she had seen plenty of men as an ICU nurse. I just said “Sorry ladies, I thought you were on the patio. I called a couple of times and did not get an answer. I’ll just jump in the shower. They both laughed. I kidded later that I will be in hot water for flashing Kay. She said I hope not.
Bottom (pun intended) I have no problem with nudity, but believe it should be used wisely.
