Trouble inflating right cylinder
Re: Trouble inflating right cylinder
As best as I remember simple squeezes did no good. Very hard intense quick squeezes worked. Same with valve. Squeeze it like you want to break it. My Coloplast valve is the same way. I can pop it to release and dick will droop or squeeze all hell out of it and have a very nice flacid. Abuse it like you are going to tear it up seems to work best. I know it is a tender area and you want to be careful with the new parts too but everything down there is a lot tougher than you think.

I have no problems with my AMS from day one. My Urologist pumped me full after my surgery, came in the next day, had my catheter removed, deflated me to about 80% and sent me home. I can't imagine a qualified Surgeon wouldn't make sure you implant worked before sending you home. Even if he did, there are a few tricks.
1. Hold your pump firmly at the connectors outlining the pump bulb in your scrotum.
2. While firmly holding the pump, give the bulb a quick squeeze. You should always feel the 'pop'.
3. Continue holding the pump and squeeze about 5 times.
4.Massage your penis with both hands, starting at the tips in the head working down the tubes on both sides. They should be equally inflated. If not continue the massage, gently pressing on the tubes.
5. Add 5 more pumps and repeat the process. This should help and dick should be hard.
6. After about 20-30 pumps, I am ready.
7. When I am ready to deflate, I find the pump with one or two hands and press the deflate button firmly untill I feel it set and saline returning to the reservoir. A quick squeeze will let you let out a little but not totally deflate.
8. I push my dick firmly and squeeze out any remaining saline. This resets the pump untill next time.
I hope this works my friends,
Donnie
Mine started acting up the day after he came by my room and looked at it and made sure I could find the release button. I messaged him but it was the weekend and he was convinced it was just swelling going down. The left cylinder had more fluid in it the tip of the cylinder was in the top part of my circumcision scare and the right tip was in the lower part of the scar. He said it worked fine when he checked it during surgery. I do not hear well and had sudden hearing loss the day before I flew out so e-mail has been my choice in dealing with this 1/2 way across the country.
I try all those steps. But the hardness of the pump bulb varies so much from attempt to attempt that pump count does also. Sometimes the left cylinder is super hard and the right is super flat. Sometimes the left is hard and the right has some fluid in it. Sometimes with waiting and additional pumps when it is easier to pump I can get them closer. But on only 3 times did both the right and left cylinder inflate together the same. And those times the pumps were much easier and I felt the deflate button more clearly and seemed higher. And I pumped more times and had more length and less girth.
On a up note. After 4 attempts last night on the last one with massaging the base I did get both cylinders close enough for use, maybe.

Hopefully that’s the case with you. There’s a wait time before you can have a revision anyway. Either way you have time to play with it.
That is my plan. To work on seeing about getting the deflate button a bit higher and easier to feel and get things working.

As I said I have squeezed my practice pump near as hard as I have my real one and the practice one separated. I am not being gentle with it. If anything I may have jammed it down where it is hanging up. The times it works best things seem easier. Both the deflate button and the pump squeezes.

Get it checked out. Some doctors rarely admit they made a mistake. Yours is no exception.

The valve block is a rectangle. The long side has nothing on it. The short side had a button in the center on 1 side. It protrudes so slightly you wonder how it can even work. You have to compress the thickness of your skin plus any capsule that has grown over the pump to squeeze the valve and you do have to squeeze the crap out of things to do it. If you do not feel it pop then squeeze the bulb very fast and hard and try the valve again. All laid out in trouble shooting guide. You could also ask Dr. Kramer or his secretary if AMS or a client in your area could give you a hand. When a doctor does it for you it is going to hurt so expect it to be the same for you to get that cursed damnable thing working. The valve does loosen up and work better with time but you first have to get it working and my experience and that of others is being kind to it and avoiding any level of pain won't get you there. Best luck to you. Cheers

I had a time when I thought mine was stuck down and squeezed the ends of the block hard and the bulb and got it free. Might be my imagination what made it work since I don't have xray vision but something did. Hope you get it ironed out. A person would think a valve at that expense would be reliable. Although I've had no problem with my Coloplast valve, a well know doctor told me it is just a cheap poorer quality imitation of yours. Broke your toy sample. Awesome!

Re: Trouble inflating right cylinder
Thank you all for the help. I do squeeze as hard as I can and it does hurt. A lot at first and longer time for healing. Still hurts as I am squeezing as hard as I can. Trouble now is the bulb is so hard much of the time that I cannot hold it to keep it from jumping out from between my fingers. I have done all the protocol. Squeezing as hard as I can, the side of the block, stretching forward, up, down, side. other side, (makes the bulb super rock hard), shaking the pump, massaging.
The most luck so far has been shaking the pump and massaging the right cylinder very low down into the scrotum where I feel a bulge and even trying to push the right tip up into the glands and stretch it up. This is with leaning my shaft to the left where I have more access to as much of the right cylinder as possible all the way down as low as I can get my fingers to. All the AMS publications say if the protocol fails to contact my doctor so I made an appointment with my local guy for this Thursday. I will call AMS and see if they have any thing to add before then. It has been over a week and at least 5 attempts every day (35-40) since it last seemed to work evenly. And that was one of the 3 in the last month. Still takes at least 4 attempts to get fluid into the right cylinder. Tried sex with the GF today but just not enough yet.
Thanks again I will keep trying in case something breaks free or breaks all together. Not much to loose at this point save more pain and I am used to that now.
