Considering injections
Re: Considering injections
Tried everything. Injections were the best, but not perfect. Work up the dosage slowly. Overdosing caused my dick to get so hard it was painful...and painful for about 4 hours. The needle stick is NOTHING. Go for it. You can do it. The first time is the worst...and its all mental. Eventually went to an implant. The delay there was all mental as well. Love my implant.
Aug'15: RP NON nerve-sparing on Rt. Pills, vac pump, injections: Injections were best, about 50%. Aug'17: Penile pain and headaches. Implant: AMS CX 18 cm+2 cm. (Undersized! ) Asked for LGX! Ochsner Hospital, New Orleans, LA Still working great.

My doctor says the injections will work but I am hesitant. I have read many success stories here. I still wonder what quality of an erection I could expect? Does the head get as engorged as with a normal erection? How about the base? I don't imagine anything would return my life to "towel bar" strength but something close would be nice. I am concerned too that having not been hard in 3 years made be a problem. Any thoughts and experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hi Falcon,
Everyone here knows i am a big fan of injections, although I think implants are super cool too. It all comes down to a personal preference. I always recommend starting at the lowest level of ED remedies and giving each stage a fair trial. It seems that injections are the next step for you. Go for it.
It took me a long time to get over needle phobia, but now it's nothing -- and my sex life has never, ever, been better.
Good luck!

I've tried everything -- pills, injections pumps -- and now I am at the final frontier.
Re: Considering injections
See my other post to Lucky414 that was titled "34 and have minimal luck with pills"... I have 5 injections under my belt now and I still say that Trimix gives my dick a SUPER POWER. I think I should get a cape as FreddyFree suggested!

OK, so lets just say that none of the ED treatments will engorge the head... now what? You just use your dick to fill out your bathing suit? None of the treatments are perfect, that's just the way it is. If you ever want sex again, pick one of the treatments and don't worry about what it CAN.T do and just focus on pussy.

I reiterate my previous post suggesting you try starting injections right away.
As to the VED, if you haven't, I suggest you try the VED after having taken a pill, ussing lots of lube and while receiving some visual stimulation, either pics, videos or live (wife). Use the lube and manual stimulation between pump cycles. I too have difficulty pumping without the above aids. The valves controlling the blood flow just don't seem to want to open otherwise. With the aids I can pump up a good hard boner which with the aid of the proper medical grade constriction ring can allow penetration. Otherwise it's just an exercise of trying to avoid edema while getting plump.

I get a very good erection with injections. I'm actually not sure if my glans get automatically engorged with the shot alone. It does get sufficiently engorged after an injection and while in use. Injections can give you a pretty darn nice boner. A towel bar is not out of the question. Go for it, you're wasting good boner time!

What a great comment !
I thank all of you who offered your thoughts and experiences.

Re: Considering injections
Do yourself a favor and try injections. I put them off for years an regret not having done so years earlier. No sensation of injecting and great consistent results for over a year now. Make sure you see a Dr who has EXPERIENCE with TRIMIX, not just Alprostadil (Caverject). I tried both and prefer Trimix. Good Luck!
