One quick question: have you tried every other less invasive protocol: pills, pumps, injections?

Yes, any good Urologist or Male Sexual Function Specialist will almost surely put you through the entire protocol of pills, pumps and injections before allowing the last resort decision to go with an implant. See your urologist soon and ask to start.

Bill:

Don't even plan on losing 2"! The doctors and manufacturers will tell you 1/2". Most guys on here are in that area, give or take bit, if you ask them 6 months or a year after surgery. I'm up 1/2" over pre surgery, and I didn't seek out the famous doctors to do my implant, I used my urologist I have been seeing for many years who is a skilled surgeon with 15 years experience doing implants, but that is not all he does by any means. He did a good job on me, no complaints.

There are some guys who have experienced this type of loss, but you will find them the exception, not the rule.

My advice is to ask for a list of referrals from the uro or other practicioner who prescribed the pills, shots, etc. and then check out those names very thoroughly. If you used bimix, trimix, etc., another good source might be the compound pharmacist who prepared it. And of course, there are guys here from New England and the metro NYC area who will certainly give you their thoughts. As a matter of fact, our FT FL lives right there in Connecticut. Certainly, Paul knows some names.

Best wishes!

Bill,

Please read today's post from rlm1818 regarding his implant procedure done by Dr. Eid in Manhattan. I think you'll be glad you did.
