Does anyone here miss their old dick?

Obviously your dick didn't work as well as it should've pre implant- but is there ever any regret that you went bionic? That you couldn't cure your ED without a device?

I certainly wish one of the other treatments would have worked, but that was not my reality. Knowing I had tried everything, I am very satisfied I got an implant. Granted it is not as wonderful as my spontaneous erections when I was your age, but that was never going to happen again, so I took the best step I could to get back to a fulfilling sex life.

As I have become accustomed to my implant it increasingly feels a part of me.
Would I go back to how I was at 30? Yes I would however I wouldn't want to return to the Viagra and injections of my early 60's......I actually like being able to control when I have a full erection and also I love having the ability to attenuate the rigidity.

I've often thought I might have overcome my inability to sustain an erection, especially after Sildenafil became widely available and cheap. Yes, I miss the spontaneous erection, but what is done is done. Even though my implant experience has been way less than perfect, at least I can get an erection and can ejaculate. I consider that a win.

At this point I'd be just as happy with my old non-working dick. I got my implant 10 years ago but have never used it (see my signature). My implant has always backfilled quite a bit and becomes a nuisance every day: I have to deflate it at least twice a day for comfort - it's not a big deal but is a pain in the neck. I have no need or desire for an erection, so having a bit of a stiffy most of the time is not pleasing.

NOPE!!! Prior to my implant surgery I was a grower... I was always very conscious of the fact that other guys were around in the locker room, the showers, the pool, the beach, etc. I mad sure I wore baggy clothing and dressed so fast I needed a phone booth and a cape. Not anymore (although that's partly because I have dropped my drawers for so many people, I just don't give a shit anymore). My old dick was lame... hello new guy..

Not one bit!!!!.......when it was in working order it served me well but when it could no longer cut the muster, I got rid of it like a broken down Ford Pinto........while in a perfect world I would have liked to have had my upward curve, .........but in reality, I'm very happy with my new dick.......

Depends on how old you are talking about. My old working dick was great and I do miss it, that is why I got an implant. I do not miss my pre implant dick at all. Even though I am 7 weeks post op and still trying to figure out a way to make it work I really like the new flaccid size and feel just going about daily activity. I am proud of it and willing to show it to anyone who wants or needs to look at it. Even my old working dick that I miss was not as big flaccid. Might be because it partially re-inflates after I deflate. I still have another inch or so to go to get back to original length and a ways to go for original girth but I hope to get most of that in the next year. When I made my decision to have the surgery I also made a rule that I would not judge the results for a year. So ask me again 10 months from now and I will be able to judge it. My only regret is that I did not have it done years ago. And I wish I would have used a VED to maintain much of my original size.
